I sometimes use an Eye and Lip Remover as my base makeup cleanser instead of a cleansing oil, and this product leaves quite a bit of that oily feeling after wiping it off. It's honestly like using a cleansing oil on a cotton pad. The upside is that it's gentler on my skin and does a great job removing impurities. I tested it on my face after just doing my basic skincare routine and going out all day, and my cotton pad turned noticeably darker. While it does feel a bit heavy and definitely calls for a second cleanse right after, I think it could work really well as a first cleanser for people with very dry skin. For my combination skin, this feels a bit too heavy. That said, I haven't had any breakouts, so I'm still using it. (Updated 03.20.19) Over time, I've noticed the oil and water layers aren't blending as smoothly, and the oiliness feels excessive. I really need to do a second cleanse with a cleansing foam or emulsion. I'm dropping it from 4 stars to something lower. I'd rate it around 2.8 to 3.2 stars.
