I've been using this for over a week now. I usually wear regular tints, but they tend to feel patchy on me, so I decided to try this tinted lip balm instead. I'm really impressed with how moisturizing it is, and the color is absolutely beautiful! There's really nothing major to complain about, but the only downside is that it does tend to get a bit messy around the lip area pretty quickly.

The application is so smooth and gliding, and it feels incredibly moisturizing—I absolutely love it. The shimmer might be a deal-breaker for some people, and honestly, it's not my favorite either. That's why I'm much more into the nude crumble shade instead.

The color payoff is subtle—just enough to give you a hint of natural flush. I think guys would find it easy to wear too, since it looks so natural on them (I heard Taemin from Shinee uses it!). The packaging is really pretty, and personally, I'm really happy with it. When your lips are really flaky and dry, the hydration isn't quite enough to smooth things out. The packaging is sleek and polished, making it an excellent gift choice. The color payoff is perfectly subtle, just what you'd expect from a tinted lip balm, and I really appreciate that. I've tried darker lip balms before where the color gets patchy and feels heavy, but this one applies smoothly without any of those issues. The moisturizing power is surprisingly impressive, and the quality ingredients mean I haven't experienced any irritation or problems while using it. There aren't really any major drawbacks, but if I had to pick something, the price point is on the higher side. The selection of retailers carrying it is also somewhat limited. First off, the color payoff is fantastic! The formula has a nice firm texture that I really appreciate. While it's not an intensely hydrating product, once you apply it, your skin feels refreshed and dewy without any sticky residue. It's so easy to apply lightly that I'm already on my third tube! Perfect for when my skin feels dry - it's so lightweight and easy to apply. The color looks naturally beautiful and blends seamlessly. It doesn't feel as hydrating as I'd hoped, and there's a bit of a slick feeling on the surface. The color payoff feels natural and the shade is exactly what I wanted. The staying power is better than I expected, and there's barely any scent. Among Melic's color lip balms, this one has the most delicate, sheer color payoff. That said, the moisturizing and nourishing benefits as a lip balm aren't really standout features. Honestly, the main thing going for it is how effortlessly wearable it is, but I didn't notice any major advantages beyond that. While it's a solid everyday option, I don't think I'd repurchase it.
