It's formulated as a hybrid between an emulsion and a cream, so the hydration level is neither too light nor as heavy as a full cream. If you have oily skin, you can finish with just this serum or mix in a drop of oil for excellent moisture, and if you have dry skin, it provides the perfect hydration level of a serum without any tightness, right before applying cream. The texture applies beautifully with a slightly tacky feel, and while there was minimal tightness on first application, your skin quickly adapts to it. I used to apply either half a pump or two full pumps morning and evening, but I switched to evening only because it caused slight pilling during the sunscreen step in the morning. The results aren't dramatic, but since it contains peptides, you'll see the real benefits with consistent use. It's pricey, but I trust the brand owner's integrity and continue using this product. As you get toward the end of the bottle, the pump stops working properly. Since it's a glass container, it's somewhat heavy, and there's a risk of it breaking if dropped from a height, so please store it safely in a low place. [ Sensitive. Oily. Acne-prone ] • I tested several peptide skincare products before settling on this one, and it's honestly the best option. Of course, I haven't tried the super expensive brands out there. • It's surprisingly hydrating and moisturizing • The original formula used to have some questionable ingredients, but after they reformulated it with cleaner components, I've been using it consistently. I'm already on my seventh bottle! After they changed the packaging, when I'm almost done using the product, the essence left at the bottom won't come up. I end up having to throw away about 1mm of product, which is such a waste. They really need to improve this. Also, when I refrigerate it to keep it fresh, the formula breaks down and gets clumpy, so I can't use it. I contacted customer service and they kindly replaced it for me, but it's still disappointing. I've tried peptide serums from two other brands before settling on Newtip. I trust this company because they create products with genuine integrity. Since I've been using peptide products for over a decade, I don't expect dramatic results from just one or two bottles. What I've noticed is that with consistent use, my skin gradually improves without me even realizing it. There was a time I stopped using it for a few months, and I could see my under-eye wrinkles becoming more pronounced. Once I started using it again, they became noticeably softer. Peptides are something I'll use for life. I'm currently combining it with Newtip's peptide ampoule, and I believe this pairing will deliver even better results. Since the reformulation, the product feels a bit irritating when I apply it. I've had to reduce the amount I use, and it seems to work better that way. Try using the peptide ampoule together with this serum! You'll see results if you stick with it consistently!

Because it has a high concentration of active ingredients, your skin shows noticeably faster results compared to other products. The full ingredient list has been updated. Be sure to check the brand's website for details. It looks like PEG might be missing from the formula. Peptides are tricky to store because of their ingredient properties. This formula absorbs beautifully into the skin. It's a gentle product that really works well. The coverage definitely keeps my complexion from looking patchy or uneven. My skin is on the dry side, but I was pleasantly surprised—it didn't feel as oily as I expected. It has a somewhat drying feel as it sets into the skin, so you really need to follow up with an emulsion or cream to keep things balanced. Perfect for combination skin with dehydrated and oily zones, especially the T-zone during summer. I love that it works beautifully all year round. I even use it as an eye cream alternative. The formula is fantastic with excellent peptide content, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Once you discover this brand, you'll keep coming back for more. I'm completely satisfied! I didn't really notice any downsides. My skin does tend to get a bit more oily in the summer, so there's a slight shine, but I think that's just individual skin differences. I've definitely noticed a real difference since using this - my skin feels less tight and I'm getting fewer breakouts. After applying the toner, my skin feels so smooth and soft, it's amazing! My only frustration is that I keep forgetting to store it in the fridge. I didn't realize it contained potential allergens, and now that I know, I'm hesitant about repurchasing it.

Honestly, when you compare the price to department store brands, this is a really excellent serum, haha. It has a high concentration of peptides and the ingredients are top-notch. I don't understand why people would downgrade it just because of a level 3 safety rating on one ingredient. Anyway, it's an ideal gift for parents. The packaging feels a bit underwhelming for gifting purposes. Because of its rich, heavy texture, it won't work for anyone looking for a lightweight serum. The ingredients are fantastic and absorb beautifully, leaving my skin feeling plump and bouncy. My complexion is naturally very dry underneath with combination tendencies, a bit sensitive, and doesn't absorb products easily. But this one delivers everything I need: hydration, that gorgeous bouncy texture, excellent absorption, no breakouts, and it even helps minimize my pores. When I layer it with squalane, it's even better. Since I have such severe dehydrated skin, using this alone feels slightly dry, so I'm planning to layer a cream on top. I actually cleared out my entire skincare collection through the Hwahae app, so right now I only have this and another brand's products. I don't have a cream yet, but I'll update this review once my order arrives. I have oily skin, and I found this a bit heavy during summer. But now that winter's here, it applies smoothly and actually delivers some nice hydration! Plus, even when my skin gets a little extra oily and breaks out, this doesn't cause any irritation—so I've been using it as an eye cream substitute during summer too. The ingredient list contains potential allergens, which is disappointing. I haven't experienced any allergies yet, so I wish this product didn't have those components.
