I've read other reviews mentioning that for waterproof products and other heavy-duty formulas, pairing this with a dedicated makeup remover is recommended, but most people agree that for everyday makeup, the cleansing power is more than enough, making this a great daily oil cleanser. The emulsification doesn't happen super quickly, so if you don't add enough water, you might be left with a slick, greasy feeling. You might notice some residue lingering on your T-zone or hairline, so you'll want to spend a bit more time on the emulsification step. If you dislike that sticky feeling or frequently wear long-wearing formulas, it's cleaner to follow up with either a dedicated makeup remover or a light second cleanse. This cleanser emulsifies beautifully and removes makeup so cleanly! I love that it takes off both eye and lip makeup without needing separate removers. The texture feels fresh and lightweight too. Plus, the generous size means I can use it generously without worrying about running out quickly! I didn't have any major complaints. I didn't really notice a dramatic difference in blackhead removal, even though the product emphasizes this benefit. I'd need to use it more consistently and pay closer attention to see if it actually works for that. That said, the formula does seem like it could be effective for blackhead removal. Emulsifies well and rinses away cleanly with water
