I absolutely love how lightweight and sheer this is. Since I'm a fan of transparent red shades, this one feels clean and comfortable to wear every day. It doesn't have that satisfying grip or adhesion I was hoping for, and the color payoff is pretty minimal, which is disappointing.

I love how compact it is, making it super convenient to carry around. The finish has such a beautiful shine, and it feels incredibly moisturizing. 1. When I first apply it, it feels hydrating, but after a while, I notice flaking and it looks messy. It doesn't seem to have any nourishing benefits. The texture just doesn't hold up over time. 2. This product specifically tends to migrate into my mouth, which feels uncomfortable. Because it has an oily texture, it pools in the center of my lips and keeps sliding inside my mouth. My throat started hurting, so I had to stop using it. Even one application does this, probably because I have fuller lips. Honestly, if you have fuller lips, I'd skip this one. Like me, you might find it bunching up and constantly moving into your mouth. This lip product delivers impressive hydration and glides on so smoothly. The cool-toned shade is absolutely flattering. I use this whenever I want to create a natural lip color look. Even though the color transfers a bit, the staying power is actually pretty decent. My first impression was that it felt like a Japanese product because it creates that signature Japanese makeup lip look! Honestly, I'm not reaching for this glossy lip formula as much these days, especially with wearing masks all the time. The color is incredibly vibrant and hydrating - it's pure moisture! Since I've only used matte formulas before, this was a total game-changer for me. Now I finally understand what people mean by "cherry-like lips"! Even though it's the darkest burgundy shade, it has this unique purplish undertone that looks so clear and absolutely gorgeous when applied. There's absolutely no heavy or dull appearance like you'd get with a matte finish. It does transfer onto masks a bit, which is slightly disappointing, but since this product was such a revelation for me, I was willing to overlook that minor drawback!

The packaging is also minimalist and clean without any unnecessary extras, which I really appreciate. It applies softer than expected, which makes me wonder if there's a bit too much oil content. Because of this, it tends to transfer onto my mask quite easily. The color payoff isn't as vibrant and bold as I'd like—it's more sheer—so it works fine for a natural, no-makeup look when I'm going out bare-faced, but for a fuller makeup look, I'd need to apply multiple layers to get the coverage I want. Apply a thin layer of tint first, and once it dries completely, layer this product on top. You'll get a gorgeous glossy, almost lacquered finish that looks really polished.

Honestly, if you ignore the burgundy label and just want to wear it as a pretty, moisturized my-lips-but-better shade, one or two light applications give you exactly that feeling. It actually seems even better suited for that kind of wear, haha! Overall, since you can control the color intensity yourself, it's such a versatile option that pretty much anyone can pull it off beautifully! I haven't tried the other shades, so I can't speak to those, but the burgundy is definitely more muted than your typical burgundy lipsticks—if that makes sense? The color payoff isn't intense. When you apply it once, you're like, wait, is this actually burgundy? It's that subtle. You really need to layer it at least three times before the color shows up properly, and from what I've seen in other reviews, some people even layer it five times to get that true burgundy effect, haha! I did wonder if there might be a bit too much oil in the formula, but when you're layering multiple times for better color payoff, you end up blotting with a tissue anyway, so that's not really an issue. If you get into a rhythm of applying, blotting, and reapplying, the color builds up nicely and intensifies really well.
