I'm writing this review after using up an entire bottle. When my skin gets really dry and flaky with that uncomfortable tight feeling, I mix this emulsion with a hydrating cream or aloe and apply it as a thick mask. It's honestly amazing how quickly everything calms down. During harsh winter mornings, I apply the essence and this emulsion, then add sunscreen, and my skin stays incredibly dewy all day until I leave work. When my skin feels sensitive, I just use a hydrating toner and this emulsion and call it done. The hydration is genuinely impressive at that point. The oil content is perfectly balanced, and this is exactly what an emulsion should be. Highly recommend. If you have oily skin, I'd skip this one. It's also not ideal to use before makeup application. The finish has a slightly slippery feel on the skin, so when you apply makeup over it, you'll definitely notice texture and pores becoming more visible. I'd recommend this for people who say, 'My skin is really dry with flaking and lacks oil balance.' Mix it with aloe or a lightweight hydrating cream and apply it to your face like a mask. You'll see flaking and small bumps disappear right away. I use it on both my face and body.
