I used to buy the Witch's Factory Cleansing Oil Herb, but since they don't sell it individually anymore, I decided to try this cleansing oil for the first time because it has similar ingredients. I don't usually wear much makeup—just sunscreen during the day—and the cleansing power seems pretty average for my needs. The scent might not be for everyone, to be honest. I've tried plenty of cleansing oils, but this one is a great value and does an amazing job removing excess oil from my skin. I'm leaving this review after using up almost an entire bottle. I've tried so many popular cleansing oils over the years, but this one is honestly my number one! I actually grabbed it on impulse when I went shopping for cleansing oil, and it's become my holy grail product. The texture is lightweight and fluid, not thick or sticky at all. It removes makeup beautifully, including stubborn mascara and eyeliner that don't budge with other products. A few gentle rubs with the oil on my eyes and everything comes off effortlessly. What really impressed me is how effectively it removes excess oil and sebum. I've tried other oils that claim to eliminate blackheads, and honestly, I don't expect miracles, but most of them don't even manage the sebum removal well. With this one, I can actually feel the oil and impurities lifting away in my hands. Since this isn't a mainstream product, I'm worried it might get discontinued. I've tried most of the well-known cleansing oils out there, and nothing compares to this one. I loved it so much that I already bought a backup bottle! There's really nothing bad about it, but if you're buying this specifically to eliminate blackheads, I'd say skip it. I've used several cleansing oils, and honestly, blackheads just don't disappear with cleansing oil alone. That said, this isn't a flaw with this particular product, it's just how all cleansing oils work. For best results, massage the oil thoroughly into areas where you're concerned about excess oil and sebum, then proceed with the emulsification step and rinse thoroughly with water. This cleanser really works! It removes mascara beautifully and cuts through oil like a charm. Best part? My eyes don't feel irritated at all. I'm really happy with it. I've only been using it for about 3 days, and since it's an oil-based formula, I think the scent might be a bit polarizing for some people. That said, I'm already noticing that my blackheads seem to be melting away, which is pretty amazing! The one downside for me is that the scent isn't really my cup of tea.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely go with this one because it actually improves my overall skin tone too. There's really nothing disappointing about it.
