Berry Soothing Sunscreen A gentle sunscreen that won't irritate When my skin is acting up, everything I apply tends to sting, and sunscreens especially feel harsh on my sensitive skin. My skin feels comfortable and it doesn't have a strong smell, which I really love! The white cast is actually a plus for me. I've been using this as my daily sunscreen and I'm such a loyal Skinfood customer—please don't discontinue this product, I'm begging you! The mineral sunscreen formula does leave a slight powdery residue that can clog pores a bit, which is frustrating. Such an easy product to apply smoothly! It's not completely white, more like a half-shade brightening effect, so you'll need to be careful with how much you apply during makeup and wait a bit between layers. Application Even though it's mineral-based, the texture isn't stiff or hard to blend at all. It spreads smoothly, but if you apply it too heavily, it can look patchy. The best technique is to gently tap and press it in while spreading it out evenly. I've been using this product for over a year now. I have sensitive combination skin, so if a product isn't gentle enough, I break out. My T-zone tends to get oily while my cheeks are on the drier side. This product applies smoothly and feels moisturizing on my skin. I haven't experienced any breakouts since using it. The only thing is that you really need to apply it thoroughly. Obviously, if you don't spread it evenly, the sunscreen leaves white streaks on your face. Other than that, I'm really happy with it.

Solved my oiliness and shine problems Whenever I applied sunscreen, my T-zone with all that excess oil would get so shiny and greasy. Then blackheads kept popping up... it was honestly so frustrating. I heard this was popular with oily skin types, so I decided to give it a try. My cheeks and forehead are too dry, so I use a hydrating sunscreen there instead. But using this product just on my T-zone? The oil production is noticeably reduced. 2. Mineral UV filter This mineral sunscreen sits on top of your skin without absorbing in. It blocks UV rays the moment you apply it. For a mineral formula, the texture spreads really nicely. The white cast isn't heavy - it's just right - and it doesn't irritate my eyes. 3. Sensitivity tested Passed dermatological irritation testing. 4. Scent: I used to avoid wearing sunscreen because I disliked that typical sunscreen smell on my face, but this one barely has any fragrance. White cast: Based on shade 19, there's no white cast like in the photo. When applied generously, it just gives a subtle brightening effect. Makeup longevity: It actually works like a primer to keep everything in place! If you apply foundation or cushion right after putting on sunscreen, your makeup starts to clump and ball up after a while. For dry, sensitive skin in your 30s: I highly recommend this gentle mineral sunscreen with excellent spreadability. It contains tocopherol to help with anti-aging benefits. Minimal white cast for a mineral sunscreen, and it's less drying than expected. Not bad at all.
