I discovered this product while searching for a lash serum to replace mascara. Compared to clear formulas, the black version gives noticeable results even without applying mascara on top. Plus, it nourishes my lashes at the same time, so it's really a win-win situation. It takes longer to dry compared to mascara. This works great for everyday use. The color is black, and while it doesn't hold quite like a traditional mascara, it's wonderful as a nourishing treatment for your lashes.
