It has a yellow, slightly thick emulsion-like texture, but if you're expecting silky, seaweed-like hair after using it, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not that type of conditioner or treatment. That said, I still recommend it because your hair feels noticeably stronger and healthier at its core. The scent is absolutely wonderful too, just as you'd expect from Santa Maria Novella. At over 40,000 won for just 100ml, it's definitely pricey. Plus, if you have long hair, you'll need to use quite a bit of product (though the thick formula does help you use it more sparingly). I do think the price is steep. Still, it's absolutely worth the investment if you're serious about hair care, and it makes an excellent gift. Santa Maria Novella is just as renowned for its fragrances as it is for its treatments, and this one didn't disappoint. The scent is beautifully subtle and lingers throughout the day. I have fine, long hair that's prone to tangling, especially after perming, but this treatment worked wonders. My hair stayed smooth and manageable for hours after application, which I absolutely loved. The price point feels quite steep for the size of the product. Since this is something I'd use daily, it's a bit of a financial commitment that gives me pause.
