Black felt too intense for me, so I was looking for something with a softer touch. I ended up choosing this one, and I have to say, the product design is absolutely gorgeous. This brush eyeliner lasts so much longer than pencil eyeliners. It doesn't smudge or flake off, which is amazing. The brush gets stiff after one use, so you have to clean it or it won't apply properly. Plus, I have to open and close the cap constantly while doing each eye because I'm worried it'll dry out. If you wipe it on something like petroleum jelly, you don't have to clean it every single time. I remembered using the regular version before and it worked so well that I decided to buy this new one. The built-in brush makes it super convenient to use. You get a generous amount of product, so it lasts a really long time. I love how it makes my eyes look more defined and striking. It does smudge a bit as the day goes on, which is a bit disappointing. The eyeliner staying power is absolutely incredible - I scrub at it and it just won't budge. Plus, the formula is so generous that this one product lasts me years. Honestly, there's nothing really to complain about. It's just great, so I'd definitely recommend using it. The only thing is that there's so much product, I might not finish it before it expires.

I wore it while getting dental work done, and the hygienist was practically working right around my eye area, but it didn't budge at all. Even after sleeping and waking up the next morning, it stayed put. The staying power is absolutely incredible! There is a bit of smudging under the eyes, which is a little frustrating. After sleeping through the night, it seems to get a bit more pronounced. This is really best for experienced users. Since this is a product that goes near the eyes, I made sure to find something with really quality ingredients! The formula is absolutely top-notch. I absolutely love how easy this is to use! I've never been great at makeup, and whenever I tried eyeliner, it would completely throw off my whole look. People used to tell me I looked better without it, so I gave up. I started using the darkest eyeshadow shade as eyeliner instead, but it barely lasted and would fade so quickly that by the end of the day, it looked like I hadn't even applied it. After searching everywhere, I heard that gel eyeliners are super easy to apply, so I went to Olive Young to get one. They didn't have it in stock, so I grabbed this from Ably instead. The brown shade is absolutely perfect—not too dark, not too light—and I fell in love with it immediately. I've been recommending it to all my friends! My makeup usually breaks down and fades really fast throughout the day, but this eyeliner is incredible. I wore it from morning through school, then to academy, and when I got home around 11 PM, it was still perfectly intact. I'm seriously obsessed with this product. I'm so grateful to whoever created this masterpiece! It's honestly so good that I'm struggling to find any real complaints. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say the brush application for the lower lash line can be tricky to control the amount of product. I end up applying it to the white cap first to adjust the amount, which is a bit inconvenient and messy. I wish the white cap had a little holder attached to the brush so I could easily control the product amount without the extra steps. The formula is easy to apply, but getting the right amount and shaping the line with the brush takes some practice. Don't throw away that white cap! After you dip the eyeliner brush into it, you can use it to control the amount of product, and it applies so smoothly and precisely. Even if you're not naturally skilled at makeup, you can totally nail a perfect line this way!
