I've tried so many different shampoos but couldn't get rid of my dandruff, so I was thinking about washing my hair with soap. Thanks to the recommendation, I decided to try a shampoo bar. I put it in a mesh pouch, rub it on my hair, and wash it out - it feels absolutely refreshing and clean! After shampooing, my hair feels stiff and dry. Using a conditioner helps though. I used the S18 product before and tried it during summer, and it works great. Even though it's marketed for men, I do a first pass for scalp care and then shampoo a second time, and my scalp feels incredibly refreshed. Plus, other soaps melt away in this kind of weather and are hard to use properly, but this one holds up really well, which I love! It doesn't dissolve, but pieces do chip off here and there, so the soap seems to shrink pretty quickly. That said, I still get more than a month of use out of it. The lather is fantastic and rinses out so easily with water. I absolutely love the subtle fragrance and that refreshing, cool sensation it gives. This product feels way too dry and stiff. When I run my fingers through my hair, the texture feels really rough and unpleasant. The fragrance is present, so honestly there's nothing particularly special about it. I wish you'd offer an unscented version. It feels refreshingly cool and creates a nice lather. While it does feel a bit stiff initially, once it dries, your hair doesn't feel dry or brittle at all. I bought this for the refreshing cooling effect, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! This is my first time using a solid soap shampoo, and it actually feels amazing to use.
