I was always hesitant about using foam cleansers in the morning because they can leave that tight, squeaky-clean feeling, but this one doesn't do that at all. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, which I really love. If you prefer that squeaky-clean sensation after washing, you might want to keep that in mind. I usually check the ingredients before buying skincare products, and since this was a gift, I was worried it might cause breakouts or irritation. But after using this cleansing foam, I didn't get any pimples or hives, and it turned out to be perfect for my skin. I was so happy with it that I used up the entire bottle. The scent is a bit... how do I describe it? It smells kind of chemical or artificial, even though it's supposed to be fragrance-free. Choosing Cleansers for Highly Sensitive Skin: As someone with highly sensitive skin, I react not only to specific ingredients but also when my skin barrier breaks down from over-cleansing, which triggers breakouts. Plus, if products get in my eyes, they cause immediate redness and small bumps on both eyelids. That's why I use gentle cleansers with mild ingredients and balanced cleansing power. This time, with my skin barrier completely compromised, I searched for a gentle cleanser and chose this product based on its ingredient list. Cleansing Routine: Cleansing oil (3 pumps) followed by micellar cleansing foam (1 pump) Usage Experience: Since I usually use fragrance-free products, I was surprised by the noticeable cosmetic scent on the first pump. However, trusting the stable formula, I gently massaged it on my face. The foam had a perfect, bouncy texture with balanced cleansing power that didn't sting, even on irritated skin with red patches and inflammation. After cleansing, my skin felt calm with no breakouts, and my eyes felt comfortable without any stinging or itching. The formula is also great for adjusting cleansing intensity—I use gentle rolling for light cleansing with just sunscreen, and multiple passes for deeper cleansing on makeup days. Recommendation: I recommend this to anyone with dry, highly sensitive skin like mine, or those looking for a gentle morning cleanser. When my skin becomes overly reactive and dry, I sometimes skip the second cleanse, and I appreciate that this leaves no oily residue, so I don't get breakouts from excess oil. Plus, the pump bottle makes it convenient for quick use on busy mornings. The fragrance wasn't my personal preference. Since I've been using mostly fragrance-free or aromatherapy-based scents, the "typical cosmetic scent" in this product was too strong. It made me hesitant at first, but since the product itself is gentle, I continue using it. If there are plans for a reformulation, I'd suggest changing the fragrance to something else or making it fragrance-free. For those who find it tedious to create lather with cleansing foam and prefer convenience, I recommend a foaming cleanser with a pump bottle that creates bubbles for you.
