My Skin Type - Dehydrated oily skin - My T-zone gets really oily by afternoon because my skin lacks moisture - I have redness and texture issues - I have elongated pores that sag downward - I tend to feel sensitivity when I switch products! Silky Smooth Texture If you look closely at the product name, you can understand the message it's trying to convey. Especially that 'velvet' cream - isn't it interesting? Once I applied the cream, I finally understood why they call it velvet! The application feels incredibly silky and creates a coating effect. It's almost like applying a primer? That's why when I use it before makeup, my textured areas calm down and I can achieve a smooth base for my complexion! Does It Work Well for Sensitive Skin? Absolutely! My younger brother has extremely reactive skin and he says there's zero irritation. As for me, my skin usually turns red whenever I switch products, but this cream caused no redness at all. What About the Scent? It's basically unscented. I thought there would be a fig fragrance, but to my nose it smells like nothing at all! Final Thoughts Highly recommended for oily and combination skin types! Those with dry skin might find it lacking. If you're concerned about pores and looking for a great pre-makeup cream, I recommend it! If you're searching for an oil-free cream, definitely give this a try! Combination Skin Needs a Hydrating Essence While those with combination skin felt satisfied using this, those with dry skin might find the 'hydration' level insufficient. If someone with dry skin uses this, I think it would work better if they apply a hydrating essence first to really saturate their skin with moisture! Does It Shrink Pores... Texture and Application: This cream has a rich, thick consistency. Rather than feeling light and fresh, it applies with a heavier, firm, and dense texture! Fragrance: Fragrance-free! It only smells like cream with absolutely no floral or fruity notes. Since it's a vegan formula, I assume they skipped adding fragrance. From what I understand, skincare products without added fragrance tend to be gentler and have better ingredients, so I really appreciated that this one is unscented! Moisture: Because of the thick formula, it naturally applies densely and provides solid hydration. This makes it great for people with dry skin too! That said, it finishes with a more matte feel (no greasy shine), so even those with oily skin or pore concerns should find it comfortable and easy to use! Sensitivity: Since I have sensitive skin, I always pay close attention to whether products cause irritation or trigger breakouts. This one didn't cause any of those issues!
