The color is a deep red with just a hint of orange mixed in. If you love bold lip colors, this would be perfect for you. It's less drying than I expected. I bought this tint back when I didn't know much about undertones. It's supposed to be for deep undertones, but honestly, it just doesn't suit me. The saturation is high but the brightness is low, which is the complete opposite of what deep undertones typically need. Still, I try to make it work by applying just one drop and layering it with other lip colors. If you have a deep undertone like me, I'd recommend pairing just one drop of this with a lip balm or a colored lip balm. That combination works really well.

This lipstick is so versatile that even with just basic makeup—foundation, eyebrows, and lips—you have a complete look. My main concern is that I have dry skin, and this lipstick can feel a bit drying. When my skin is dehydrated or flaky, the lipstick tends to emphasize those areas. When I remove it, it sometimes peels off in one distinct layer rather than blending away smoothly. Depending on my mood or outfit, I'll wear it either sheer or bold. I have a cool undertone for winter, and the shade matched perfectly! I didn't test it beforehand and just bought it based on reviews, but it turned out to be really nice. The staying power is disappointing. It wore off right away after eating a burger. I bought this because it claimed to improve texture and reduce flaking, but it actually made my dry patches more noticeable, which is frustrating. The way it feels on my face is different from how it performed when I tested it on the back of my hand. At least the color is pretty, so that's something. I picked this up duty-free at a great price. The red shade is more of a subtle tone rather than super bold, and the staying power is decent. The product has a scent that isn't really my thing, so I don't find myself reaching for it very often.
