I'll admit I'm not a fragrance expert, but I used to love those sweet, floral scents with all those flower notes. Now they just feel tired and a bit outdated to me, honestly. Everyone and their mom is wearing them, so they've lost that special something. Plus in summer, those heavy florals attract bugs like crazy, and when they mix with sweat? Ugh, not it. But Rain? I'm obsessed with it. It smells like fresh cucumber soap, haha. So clean and neutral-smelling. I'm not sure why I always thought scents like this had to be feminine. I think I'll be reaching for this all summer long. It's got a tiny bit of that Marc Jacobs Rain vibe going on.

The texture is pretty lightweight, so if you're looking for serious hydration, you might be disappointed. I'm happy with it though since I prefer something airy to apply.

By the way, I just realized I've been using this hand cream from Vanilla Boutique in the Rain Perfume scent all this time without ever writing a review for it. I've heard it's a brand famous for fragrances, but I haven't tried their other products so I'm not too familiar with them. Alright, let me give you a thorough review! About Me: - I dislike overly sweet or spicy fragrances, heavy cologne-type scents, and alcohol notes - My favorite scents are woody, light florals, fabric fragrances, grapefruit, rose, and similar notes - I generally love neutral fragrances - I tend to keep updating my reviews if I'm not completely satisfied Product Information and Features: - A neutral, subtle fragrance that's not commonly found - Described as "a fresh scent that cleanly captures the dewy coolness of a rainy day" - Lavender and citrus blend - 50ml at the regular price of 6,000 won, discounted to 4,900 won (great value for money) What I Loved: The Fragrance: To describe it in detail, it's like taking an intensely floral bouquet and burying it under a rain-soaked lawn, then smelling what rises from it. It's fresh yet slightly earthy, if that makes sense. It genuinely smells like grass after rain, which makes it quite unique and uncommon. It has that sophisticated hotel linen quality to it! Because of this, even though it's supposedly lavender and citrus, I wouldn't have guessed the lavender note before reading the description. If you have similar fragrance preferences to what I mentioned about myself, you'll probably love this too. I absolutely adore it! Moisturizing Power: It's not extraordinarily moisturizing, but it's a solid mid-range level that works well for daily use. Once it fully absorbs, your skin feels soft and smooth. Since I tend to have slightly oily hands, I'm not on the dry side, but if you have very dry skin, you might find the moisture level insufficient. Just keep that in mind! Absorption and Finish: It absorbs in less than 10 seconds with just a quick application. I personally dislike hand creams that feel sticky or greasy, and this one isn't like that at all. It leaves your hands feeling soft and fresh, which I really appreciate. Longevity: It lasts about 2 hours, which is pretty standard for hand creams. Nothing particularly special about it, but nothing disappointing either.
