My skin is naturally oily and doesn't feel particularly dry, but dermatologists and estheticians always tell me I'm actually dehydrated. I really hate that sticky, greasy feeling, and I love how smoothly this applies without any heaviness. It's not a moisture-packed emulsion, so even with oily skin, I need a hydrating cream. My usual routine is toner, then serum, essence, emulsion, and eye cream or hydrating balm. Honestly, I wasn't even sure what an emulsion was supposed to do, and since it's pricey, I thought I could skip it and tried going without for a while. But something felt incomplete without it, so I ended up coming back to it. When I apply essence or serum, my skin gets a bit shiny, but once I layer this Belief emulsion, my skin texture and oiliness feel perfectly balanced. I can't live without it anymore, so I keep repurchasing. It's expensive and the value for money isn't great, especially since it's not even a treatment product. But here's the thing—no other emulsion has this exact texture, so there's really no substitute for it.

My skin is really sensitive, and after cleansing, everything I applied would sting. But this emulsion is so much gentler - the irritation is barely noticeable now. One application alone feels too dry for me. Layering it on in thin coats a few times makes a real difference though. I love how gentle this is. I have sensitive skin and I trust it completely, so I've been using it for two rounds now. I can't really think of any downsides! It's not like my skin dramatically improved, but that's actually part of its charm—it's beautifully understated.

This is my holy grail product that I keep repurchasing! It's perfect for summer use. I love that it doesn't feel oily on my skin. When my face feels dry, sometimes this alone doesn't seem like enough moisture. I wish it had stronger hydrating power.

It's also really gentle, which makes it perfect for guys with sensitive skin types! The formula is quite lightweight, so you'll definitely need to follow up with a moisturizing cream to avoid feeling dry underneath. Also, once you get toward the bottom of the bottle, the pump stops working properly, so you have to unscrew the cap and tap it out to get the last bit of product. After hydrating your skin, apply this right before makeup to start with a perfectly moisturized and fresh complexion. The powdery finish sometimes felt heavy and suffocating, even when I wasn't wearing full makeup. Perfect for mattifying and controlling excess oil before applying makeup.
