This product is gentle on skin and does an amazing job of clearing whiteheads. After using the pore mask, my makeup looks flawless the next day with no whiteheads showing through. It worked fine during warm and hot weather, but when I started using it in the colder, drier season, my makeup felt patchy the next day. This is such an amazing alternative to traditional pore strips! I switched from harsh nose packs to this mung bean pore cleanser for managing blackheads and excess oil, and my skin irritation has dramatically decreased. When I apply it lightly on my nose, the oil dissolves smoothly and I can feel my pores opening up. After cleansing, my nose feels incredibly smooth and refined. What really stands out is how gentle it is. With my old pore strips, my nose would turn red and feel irritated afterward, but this product doesn't do that at all. It simply and mildly clears out impurities from deep within my pores. The application is super straightforward too—after cleansing, I apply a generous layer to my nose before drying off completely, wait about 5 minutes, then gently rinse with lukewarm water. That's it! Even after just one use, my nose feels noticeably softer and cleaner, and with regular use, I get fewer blackheads. Best of all, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump with no tightness, so even sensitive skin can use it without worry. Honestly, it's like a "gentler pore cleanser compared to harsh strips." It cleans thoroughly without aggressive irritation, and my skin texture visibly smooths out after each use—I'm completely satisfied! This has become my go-to staple in my regular pore care routine. This product is gentle and really effective. When I use it, the sebum dissolves out at a reasonable level rather than coming out in chunks. Plus, the sheet mask included is the perfect size for my nose and the area between my eyebrows, which makes it so convenient to use. Everything about it is great, but the smell is pretty strong. I do get used to it after wearing it for a bit, but I honestly can't figure out what the scent is. It kind of smells like a stale, musty odor, and sometimes it reminds me of a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in a while. Since this has a gel-like texture and the included sheet mask is quite thick, when I apply just this product alone to the sheet, it doesn't penetrate into my skin as much. That's why I prefer to dampen the sheet with water first, then spray the clarifying essence on top before applying it to my face.

I've tried the mung bean exfoliating gel and the cleansing foam, and they're both fantastic. I was so impressed that I picked up the scaling water too, and wow, the results are amazing! Definitely grab these during a sale! The scent is pretty strong, I'll admit... but honestly, most scaling water products have that same intense smell, so it's just something you have to accept with this type of product. Pro tip: before using it, open up your pores by applying a warm steam towel to your face, or wash with warm water first. You'll notice the oil comes out so much better and the results are literally twice as effective!

I've tried a couple of other sebum control products from different brands, and this one does an excellent job at removing excess oil. You just soak a cotton pad with it for about 10 minutes and apply it to your face, then the sebum comes right off—it's incredibly effective. I used to use a spatula-type tool from another brand, but honestly, even using a cotton swab would work just fine with this product. The smell is absolutely overwhelming. I actually looked up reviews before buying this, so I knew the odor was a downside, but it's so much worse than I expected. It has this strange scent—kind of like a dirty mop mixed with a hint of something unpleasant. Since you have to keep it on your face for the full 10 minutes, the smell just keeps wafting up the whole time, which makes it really difficult to use. On top of that, the product seems to irritate my skin more than other brands I've tried. I really appreciated the generous supply of dedicated cotton pads included with this product. They adhered beautifully, even to curved areas of the face. The sebum-softening formula worked remarkably well too. I loved how the product dispenses in controlled amounts, making it easy to use just the right quantity each time. The sebum-softening liquid comes out in such tiny amounts that it's frustrating. It just wasn't my preference. Since my skin is quite sensitive, the included scaler felt a bit too sharp for my comfort. If you're someone who values precise product dispensing, I'd definitely recommend this! This brand is just too harsh for my skin, so I don't think I'll be able to use it anymore. I applied it with a cotton pad and within just 5 minutes, not only where the pad touched but the entire surrounding area turned red and irritated. I've never experienced anything like this before and I was honestly shocked.
