It's so pretty and I really want to try it! The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. This is honestly one of my favorite products ever. I'm so sad it's been discontinued. This has a beautiful matte finish that doesn't feel dry, with excellent color payoff in a fresh, innocent pink shade. It's not overly bright or bold, making it perfect for everyday wear. I wish they would release a glossy version in addition to this matte formula. My usual lip type: dry and prone to flaking The product design is absolutely gorgeous. I typically don't go for playful-styled products, but this one has such a beautiful mirror-like shine that I genuinely enjoy carrying it around. I've noticed some other products have loose caps, but this one closes securely, which is really satisfying. The shade has a nude pink vibe. It's not overly muted though—it's more of a strawberry milk tone that works perfectly as a base color. Even though it's a matte lipstick, the application is smooth and not stiff at all. The color pays off exactly as is without any shifting on the lips. Since it's a matte lipstick, there's only so much you can do, but I did notice some texture emphasis when my lips weren't in the best condition or felt dry. That said, if I moisturize well the night before and apply it, there's really no issue. Because it's a lipstick and not a tint, the staining power is basically nonexistent. It works wonderfully as a base color. When I layer a lip gloss over it afterward, it looks even more beautiful. This base lip color is absolutely stunning! When you layer it over Romand Blur Fudge Tint in shade 7 or 8 after applying this as your base, the result is incredible. If you have cool undertones, you absolutely need to get this! The case is really fragile, and for someone like me who's a bit clumsy, it breaks easily. I've dropped it so many times that it doesn't close properly anymore, but it's so beautiful that I can't bring myself to stop using it! If you apply this lipstick generously as a base and then layer it over Romand Blur Fudge Tint in shades 7 or 8 (perfect for cool undertones) with a gradient effect, you'll honestly look like a gorgeous goddess. I thought a velvet lipstick would be dry and patchy, but it's surprisingly smooth with amazing application! The color has this subtle pink tone that looks absolutely gorgeous. The pink undertone might be a bit strong for warm-toned complexions, so it could be less flattering for some people. If you use this as a base and apply it all over your lips, then layer a pop of color on top, the result is absolutely stunning.

Perfect for skin tones 15-17 with cool undertones, works beautifully as a standalone lip color. My daily go-to! Honestly, there's nothing I'd change about it, but having to write at least 20 characters feels like a lot to ask If your natural lip color tends to be on the redder side, I'd suggest dabbing a bit of cushion foundation over your lips first, then apply the lip color. I bought this as a lip base, and I'm really happy with it! The color is a soft pink with just a hint of beige mixed in, which makes it perfect for layering underneath. It has a velvety, powdery finish that feels luxurious, but the application is smooth and creamy. It doesn't emphasize dry patches or flaking, which is great. The staying power is impressive too, so I don't experience much feathering or transfer throughout the day. I would have been even more thrilled if it had a bit more white undertone, higher brightness, and a cooler pink shade, but honestly, I'm still really satisfied with what I have. My only minor concern is that the price point feels a bit steep.
