    This retinal cream is absolutely incredible for the price - seriously the best value I've found. I kept using my regular skincare routine and just added this retinal cream, and the difference was noticeable right away. My skin texture became noticeably smoother and my pores actually shrank, which I could really feel. Then I started layering niacinamide on top, and my complexion became so much clearer and brighter. Instead of starting with a beginner retinal product, I went straight for the innovative 0.5 strength, and combined it with extra barrier-care and peptide-rich creams. My skin's firmness and elasticity improved so much.
    The high retinal concentration does mean you need an adjustment period, which takes time. At first, I was applying just a small amount mixed with serum, but I still felt a slight stinging sensation. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed a little bit of flaking around my cheekbones. That's when I really understood that my skin needed time to adapt to this ingredient.
    Since I chose the innovative 0.5 strength as my first retinal product, I want to share how I adapted to it. I started by focusing on hydration and calming barrier-care products, then mixed a tiny amount into my cream and applied it once every four days for three applications. After that, I mixed a small amount into my serum and used it for about a week and a half to let my skin adjust. Then I mixed equal parts serum and retinal and used that for a week. After applying serum, I used it generously once or twice a week. Once my skin seemed adapted, I moved to my regular routine: after cleansing and absorbing hyaluronic acid, I apply an appropriate amount of retinal, followed by a barrier cream like cica cream, panthenol, or ceramide-rich moisturizer once or twice a week. My skin condition has become the best it's ever been. I'm so glad I discovered this approach, even if it took me a while.

    The ingredients are excellent and the price is really fair. I'm still getting used to it, so I haven't experienced any significant irritation yet.
    There's nothing really to complain about, but if you're new to this product, you'll want to be careful with how much you use. The concentration isn't particularly low.
