    I started with a low-strength vitamin C serum and then tried the new high-strength formula when it launched. If you're new to vitamin C products, I'd recommend beginning with the low-strength version. While I call it "low-strength," that's just how this innovative brand categorizes their range into lower and higher potencies. Compared to other vitamin C products on the market, even this brand's lower-strength option is actually quite potent. When I used the low-strength formula, I experienced noticeable irritation on delicate areas like around my eyes, mouth, and neck. That's why I'm currently applying the new high-strength version only to my cheeks. It definitely has more of a tingling sensation, but it's manageable. You'll really need to adjust the amount and frequency based on your own skin's tolerance. Since there can be side effects, the brand included detailed precautions with their product. Vitamin C serums typically have that sticky texture and metallic scent, and this one isn't completely free of those traits, but honestly, the feel is quite pleasant for a vitamin C product. The application experience was similar between the low and high-strength versions. Since I have dry skin, I layer a moisturizing cream on top to keep my skin hydrated. The serum itself doesn't provide much moisture or hydration on its own. I haven't noticed dramatic brightening or spot-fading results, though that might be because my skin tone is naturally deeper and I don't have severe blemishes to begin with. But since it's packed with antioxidants, I keep using it for its anti-aging benefits.
    The price relative to the amount you get is a bit steep, though it's actually more affordable compared to other vitamin C products available. My main frustration is that the dropper isn't very long, so once the serum level drops to about a quarter of the bottle, it becomes really difficult to draw the product up with the dropper.

    This high-performance vitamin C and E serum is such a steal! The formula and feel are incredibly similar to Aesop C23, but at half the price. You'll notice immediate improvements in pore appearance and skin tone. Seriously, you can see results in just three days.
    The 15% version has more oil content, so my face gets a bit shiny throughout the day. I switched from Aesop C23 because it felt too heavy, but this one is also heavier than I'd like, so I was a little let down. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to go with the 15% version and accept slightly less potency.
    Here's a pro tip: if you wait for the funding period and stack it with promotional events, you'll get the absolute best deal. Just keep in mind the shelf life is only about 18 months, so don't stock up too much at once.
