Whether I apply it thin or layer it multiple times, my skin looks equally flawless, and the only difference is whether the coverage gets better or stays the same. But it's not a matte finish, it has a luminous quality instead! That's why my skin looks so radiant. I prefer a matte base, so I mix it with a matte shade 24 foundation and apply it with a puff for a seamless blend, then gently tap it on. This cushion is honestly the best one I've ever used. It fills in my pores beautifully, and even though my skin is usually problematic and breaks out no matter what I apply, this is the only product that doesn't cause any irritation. Plus, finding a cushion without that pore-clogging stearic acid ingredient is like finding a needle in a haystack, but this one doesn't have it and the formula seems really good overall. The amount of product is seriously way too small. I'm not exaggerating when I say it ran out after just ten uses. I couldn't believe it, so I opened it up to check and there's barely anything in there. I really wanted to make this my go-to cushion, but I just can't justify the purchase because the quantity is so disappointing. This product lasts longer than expected. You can use it hygienically without worry. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin. It tends to be a bit oily, so I wouldn't recommend it for combination skin types. This cushion is a total game-changer for me! It's incredibly hydrating and has amazing coverage. Honestly, I'm not really a fan of using cushion compacts. What I love about this is that even without the cushion, when I press down, the product comes out so I can dab it on with my fingers. The coverage is fantastic and it doesn't feel heavy at all. Even though I prepped my skin well, it still seems to lift a bit during the day. If I apply too much base, it gets patchy, but if I use less, my skin feels dry.
