The application feels smooth and the color is beautiful, though I've noticed the shade that shows up can vary depending on your natural lip tone :) A lot of product comes out on the applicator tip, so you'll definitely need to control the amount. I'm around shade 23-25 with a warm, deep autumn undertone, and since my lips have a bluish cast, the swatch on my arm shows up as a deep brown, but when I apply it to my lips it comes across more as a rosy brown. I'd recommend swatching it carefully before you buy to see how it works with your specific coloring. Also, this transfers quite a bit onto cups and glasses. It applies so smoothly and the color is absolutely gorgeous! I tried my friend's and loved it so much that I had to get my own. It does emphasize dry patches a bit, and I notice some slight pilling when I apply it.
