Over three years of loyal use - this is my third tube! I'm sharing swatches with other shades I love so you can see how the color compares. (1: Peripera Ink the Airy Velvet Stick - the ultimate lip color, 2: 3CE Velvet Lip Tint in Slow Motion, 3: Romand Mood Layer Velvet Tint - a soft peachy coral, 4: Clio Dawn Cloud Coral) It's here again... I've gone through three tubes of my absolute holy grail... It's back... Even when I try other shades, I always end up blending this one in to feel balanced. It's my go-to comfort product. I have a deep undertone and fair skin. A friend recommended this before I even knew my personal color, and honestly, I was skeptical at first - wasn't it too pink? Wasn't the tone too cool? (Spoiler: it's not cool at all. I just didn't realize it back then because I was only wearing orange lipsticks!) But here I am, three tubes later, and I'm obsessed. The color is so vibrant and punchy! I never wear it as a full lip - I always do a gradient application. When I'm doing a pink makeup look, this is literally all I reach for. The color payoff is incredible. 1 shows the color deposit and 2 shows how it wears on the lips. But here's the thing - as you can see, the color doesn't stay coral-toned. It settles into a really bright, neon pink on me. I know I have a deep undertone, but honestly, I think this would be perfect for anyone with cool undertones in the summer. That said... If you have a deep undertone and can pull off pink, I absolutely recommend this. Seriously, seriously! I absolutely love the color! If you have a cool undertone and it's summer, I'd definitely recommend this to you! I can't really think of anything bad about it. Light undertone shade. The tip has a nice full texture that makes application so easy, and the color payoff is fantastic thanks to that vibrant hue. Even though it's a velvet formula, it applies smoothly without any tugging, and it doesn't feel dry at all, which I really appreciate. The staying power is seriously impressive. I tested the color on my wrist and wiped it with a wet tissue, then a makeup remover, and even washed it with body wash in the shower, but the color still faintly remained the next morning. The pigmentation is excellent and the wear time is outstanding. When it sets, it leans more toward a pink tone. I've tried quite a few velvet formulas, and I really appreciated that this one doesn't emphasize texture or flaking as much. The color is absolutely gorgeous - it sits somewhere between warm and deep undertone, so I think warm-toned people will absolutely love it. The staying power is incredible! The cap is a bit tricky to open. The applicator is quite large, which makes it harder to control the application. I'd highly recommend this for deep undertones, and those with warm skin tones who have pink undertones should be able to wear it beautifully too! I absolutely love this! The color is genuinely stunning, and even though I'm not sure about the longevity, the shade is so pretty that I'm just going to keep using it. There's nothing major to complain about, but I'm wondering about the wear time? Also, it seems to emphasize dry patches a bit.

The velvet formula gives it just the right amount of color payoff, and it barely transfers, which is exactly what I was looking for. The shade is gorgeous so it's not a dealbreaker, but I wish they'd redesign the tint applicator because it feels a bit clunky and could be more refined.

When I can't be bothered with a full makeup look, I just dab a little bit of leftover lip balm on my lips and swipe it around. Honestly, there's nothing more effortless and gorgeous than the natural lip finish you get this way! Does it come off easily? Sure, but here's the thing - after about 30 minutes, you'll need to reapply it. That's definitely a drawback, but the packaging and the color are so stunning that I'm totally here for it anyway. Just like I mentioned - it applies so smoothly and naturally! It's literally perfect for that easy, polished look.

It's perfect for creating a natural gradient effect, and I can even wear it as an overline if I want to. Since it has a matte finish, it gives my lips such a sophisticated vibe, and I'm really happy with it. Since this is a matte lipstick, it really performs best when my lips are in perfect condition. It tends to cling to any dry patches or fine lines, so I need to be careful with how much I apply. I like to apply a generous layer of lip balm before bed, and it makes such a difference! My lips feel incredibly soft and smooth, and then any lip tint or lipstick I apply the next day looks and feels amazing. I also discovered that if I apply a more hydrating lip product on the inner part of my lips and then layer this matte shade on the outer edges, it creates a beautiful overline effect without looking too matte. The best part is that it's affordable and comes in a wonderful range of colors If you have any flakiness, this product tends to emphasize it... I noticed this issue across the entire Revlon line, but when I use just this product, my lips feel itchy and I get some peeling. It seems like there's a specific ingredient that doesn't work well with my skin, so I'd recommend people with sensitive lips avoid this one.
