I think it's just a matter of how it feels on your skin. During hot summers, you might notice it has a slightly tacky texture with a rich, creamy consistency! I'm not using it right now since it's gotten warmer, but through early June, I was applying it in the evening before my heavier cream step. Once I apply it, my skin feels so plump and hydrated! I'd say there's a bit of stickiness to it. It does tend to cling to your hair, haha. I'd recommend using this during the cooler seasons like spring, fall, and winter rather than hot summer months. If you do want to use it in summer, try keeping it in the fridge for a refreshing, cooling feel! The fragrance is lovely! It massages beautifully. I'd recommend this for dry skin types! It feels sticky and leaves my skin red. The texture is incredibly hydrating and bouncy. After application, it feels plump and firm. While the fragrance is synthetic, the sweet plum scent is really lovely and makes the experience enjoyable. After about a week of use, I started experiencing breakouts. I thought maybe I was applying too much, so I cut back and used less, but the breakouts continued to appear. Since I have dry skin, this seems perfect for winter use. However, the breakouts suggest it's actually more emollient than expected, so I can't use it every day. It works best when applied before bed. When I apply it before bed, my skin stays incredibly moisturized the next day! Absolutely love it! I wish it came with a spatula for application - that would make it perfect. I bought two sets and have used up almost all of them. The formula is a lightweight hydrating cream, and I only used it with my V-Sera device. I didn't experience any skin irritation. After applying it, my face turns purple. Since my skin is extremely dry and I was using this as a support product with my device, I ended up applying it generously, which left the product's color visible on my face. Honestly, I think it would be much more practical to just use aloe gel instead. You can use this only when operating your device and then rinse it off. Whatever you do, don't apply it in the morning. You'll end up having to wash your face again, which is inconvenient.
