The coverage is excellent. I think this would be perfect for anyone with a fair complexion! The texture feels heavy and it's tricky to control the amount, so I don't find myself reaching for it often. Plus, since I have a lighter skin tone, it actually made my face look darker than it should. It applies beautifully and looks gorgeous, but it breaks down messily throughout the day. I can manage it okay by blotting with oil sheets in between, but it's such a shame. The built-in mirror on the case makes it so convenient to touch up your makeup on the go. The texture feels really rough with visible flaking, and the product sheds like dead skin cells - I can't use it. It gets drier and drier the longer I wear it. I've used this so much, and honestly, during summer it tends to break down a bit, which isn't ideal. That said, the coverage is absolutely fantastic, and I love that it's lighter than the sunscreen version. The cushion shade is brighter, which I really prefer. I think this has been discontinued, but please bring it back. I'm begging you! Finding a replacement has been such a struggle. When oil builds up around my nose area, it breaks down pretty easily. This cushion has all the best qualities of powder foundation without any of the drawbacks! I absolutely love how breathable it is on my skin! The staying power and adherence are incredible, and there's minimal oxidation and breakdown, so I didn't need to touch up my makeup at all. I applied it around 7:50 AM and by 9 PM, there was barely any creasing visible. I used to struggle with a cushion that oxidized heavily and emphasized dry patches, but this one is genuinely satisfying. Plus, it's powder-free! I normally wear shades 20-21 in summer, but this one runs a bit light for me. It seems to be more like a neutral 19-21 range. The compact case is also adorable and rounded, which I love. Everyone around me keeps asking where I got this cushion! It covers blemishes, discoloration, and redness beautifully. The coverage is fantastic! Best of all, I can do a barely-there makeup look with this. I usually get breakouts when I switch products, but this one didn't cause any irritation. The puff isn't great, which is disappointing. The price is also on the higher side for a cushion foundation, so I wish they'd have sales more often. The shade runs a bit light, which feels a little heavy-handed, so shade adjustment is necessary. When I rubbed my face on my phone without powder, it transferred slightly. There's also a lot of oil when you first open it, which is annoying to wipe off, and it feels wasteful. I've been using this for four tubes now, and since my skin is extremely sensitive, I can't wear regular foundations or cushions. This is my fourth attempt with a sun cushion, and I think I've finally found my match! What I love: - Yellow undertone: Since I have some redness and blemish-prone skin, this yellow-based formula really helps neutralize those issues. I'd definitely recommend it if you have acne-prone skin. - Pore coverage is just right: Don't expect primer-level performance, but honestly, even though it's a sun cushion, it covers pores just like a regular cushion would. That's a win! - Staying power is impressive: It lasts about 4-5 hours, and it doesn't just wash away if it gets a little wet. Really solid. - Semi-matte finish is perfect for oily skin: It has a nice subtle glow without looking shiny or greasy. Love that! - The compact case is adorable: The rounded shape is just so cute! My skin is genuinely problematic, and I can't use most products, so finding something this good feels like a blessing. Things to keep in mind: - Pore clogging can happen in summer: I didn't notice it in spring, but when I used it in the intense heat, my skin got irritated and I started seeing some pore congestion as the day went on. Not sure if it's the product or just the heat, but it's worth noting. - I can't say it's completely trouble-free: I'm not entirely sure what causes it, but I occasionally get small bumps. That said, this might not be directly related to the cushion. - Touch-ups require a light hand: When I blot with oil blotting papers and reapply, it goes on smoothly, though it might look slightly thick. But that's something I'm willing to accept. - Make sure to mix in the oil that floats on top when you first open it. - The base needs to be lightweight: Don't apply a heavy moisturizer underneath. Use a light base and make sure it's fully absorbed before applying the cushion, or it won't blend properly. - The included puff works great: The compatibility between the cushion and the built-in puff is excellent, which is a huge plus.
