The coverage is sheer and applies so cleanly! Ever since I first tried it, this has become my go-to product for important occasions. I absolutely love it! My skin tends to have a bit of redness, and this works perfectly for me. My complexion looks so much brighter and more radiant!

I honestly can't find anything to complain about. The compact size fits perfectly in my hand, and I'm really happy with how convenient it is!

Well, my wish came true. If you're like me and only use makeup occasionally, or if you already have tons of foundations lying around, this smaller size is definitely the way to go. Shade: I got shade 1.5, and it's such a balanced tone—not too red, not too yellow. If the shade doesn't feel quite right for you, you can always mix it with another foundation or concealer to customize it. Performance: I'm basing this on how it performed in April (I have combination skin). I use my usual base and sunscreen, and I don't apply a lot of foundation—I just squeeze out a tiny bit, blend it with my fingers first, then press it in evenly with a dry beauty sponge. I finish with a light dusting of powder just on my T-zone. Honestly, no exaggeration—my makeup from 9am stayed completely intact until after 11:40pm. Since I have combination skin and usually love a matte finish, I normally powder my entire face except in winter. But lately it's been cooler and I've noticed some dryness, so I've been doing powder only on my T-zone. My cheeks, nose, and chin stay put all day! The oil that comes through as time goes on actually makes my skin look naturally healthy and glowing. Throughout the day, I wash my hands and dab them dry with a towel, then gently press on my nose and cheeks to control shine. The foundation doesn't budge or transfer (though that might be because I apply it lightly). Even after wearing it for hours, there's no feeling of heaviness, itchiness, or that uncomfortable tight sensation at all. Blendability: I was worried that since it's a semi-matte formula, it might feel stiff or look shiny in summer. But it blends beautifully with no clumping. I'd recommend building it up gradually with thin layers rather than applying it all at once. On days when the temperature hits 73 degrees Fahrenheit and I skip the powder, there's no transfer or breakdown, so I think this will work great for summer too.

Coverage: When a product launches with the name "concealer foundation," consumers naturally expect top-tier coverage. So I was a bit confused about why the word "concealer" is even in the name. It covers minor blemishes pretty well, but I'm not sure it can handle bigger imperfections or pores effectively. I think this works better for people who want a natural, barely-there makeup look rather than full coverage. If you're looking for that obvious, done-up makeup appearance, you might feel disappointed. Container: I love that it comes in a smaller size, but the container itself feels unnecessarily bulky and thick. I remember The Saem had a smaller version of their glossy foundation (the Studio one, I think?), and that container had a nice grip and compact design that matched what they were going for. This one feels a bit over-engineered in comparison.

The Saem has always done matte and semi-matte formulas really well. But every now and then they venture into dewy, glossy, or hydrating finishes—and honestly, those aren't great. I wish they'd stop chasing trends and just focus on perfecting what they're actually good at.
