The scent is delicate and subtle. I bought it on my hairdresser's recommendation. Even though it's past its expiration date, I still use it for taming flyaways It left residue on my hands, and when I applied it like a curl cream to my shoulder-length hair, it felt too heavy and made my hair look clumpy and unruly. Great for styling long hair when you want that moisturized feel. Just apply it to your flyaways and brush through for perfectly tamed, smooth hair

Of course, once you work it through your hands and distribute it evenly, it becomes more matte, but among matte waxes, this one delivers the most luxuriously moisturized application. I've heard that salons use this too, and it's absolutely true. The scent matches exactly with the wax my regular stylist uses at the salon. The only downside is the accessibility when purchasing. I wish it were available at Olive Young, but unfortunately it's not there. That's what I find disappointing. That said, buying online isn't difficult at all, and domestic shipping is available. If you're looking for a matte, shine-free hold for short hair, this is genuinely perfect. First of all, the formula is easy enough for beginners to apply, and you can even adjust your hair shape a bit after application. It applies smoothly, cleanses really well, and holds everything in place beautifully. I reach for this product all the time! I loved using this before I knew about the ingredients, but now that I'm more aware of what's in it, I'm hesitant to keep using hair products like this one. This is honestly the best wax I've ever used. I've heard some people say the cleansing power isn't great, but it's actually so much better than the wax I was using before. I love that this formula feels less sticky and gives you plenty of options to customize the hold and matte finish to your preference. Plus, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The value for money is really solid. It seems to cleanse effectively. If you leave it sitting after opening, the staying power seems to diminish quite a bit.
