I use this as a substitute for toner after cleansing. I don't always use traditional toner anyway, but I wanted to see if the mugwort ingredient could benefit my skin health, so I gently pat it on with my hands whenever I remember. I personally love the mugwort scent and use it regularly, though I can see how people sensitive to fragrance might not enjoy it as much. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation during the two-thirds of the bottle I've used. On lazy days when I skip sheet masks, I soak a cotton pad with this and lay it on my face, and it really seems to help calm and soothe my skin. I'm not sure it fully delivers on what a typical toner is supposed to do—like prepping the skin, removing dead skin cells, and providing long-lasting hydration. The texture feels fresh and lightweight. Since it's supposed to help improve skin texture, I'm definitely going to keep using it consistently! The expiration date is November 24, 2024, which feels pretty soon. I'll need to use this up quickly. You can apply it by soaking a sheet mask or just gently tap it into your skin with your fingertips for better absorption.
