Hmm... There's nothing good to say. This is truly the worst cushion I've ever used in my life. It pills like crazy... I'm serious... it pills so badly. I got both shade 21 and 23 in the Christmas lucky box, and now I'm in big trouble. How am I ever going to use these up? I honestly want to throw them away. Touch-ups are useless. It's so frustrating. There's no hydration, so you have to absolutely douse your face with mist. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely need a mist. Even with a thin layer of skincare, it pills, and if you apply thicker layers, it pills even more. - in*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2018
1. As advertised, it's less likely to stick to hair compared to other cushions. It's not completely non-stick, but it's about as good as other cushions with a dab of oil-control powder. 2. The container holding the product has excellent sealing. Usually, I can open and apply with one hand, but this one requires both hands to open properly. 3. Great for skin makeup when you want to skip foundation (medium coverage). 4. I have extremely oily skin that tends to get shiny, but with this cushion, the oil breakthrough happens much later compared to others. 1. The sponge holding the product seems to sit higher than the container, causing it to touch the inner cover. Based on other review photos, it's not just mine that has this issue. 2. I purchased it right after launch, and at that time, applying with the original puff felt slightly less adherent to the skin. 3. While it's good as a foundation alternative, it's not great for touch-ups. Even with a different puff, it tends to look a bit patchy when reapplied. 4. The black cover easily shows fingerprints. I liked the design and color, but this aspect was quite disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2018
The positives are: firstly, the case is sleek and pretty. The amount seems a bit more generous compared to other cushions. Whether it's because I don't use it as often as others or not, I feel like it lasts longer than other cushions. The coverage is poor. I usually only use cushions for touch-ups when I'm out and it's difficult to reapply foundation. I've had good experiences with Yurika products before, so I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to them. When I use this cushion for touch-ups, it actually removes my makeup instead. Also, for my combination skin type, this product tends to cake a bit. I bought it during a sale on the Yurika website, so I got it at a discount. If you see a sale post on Facebook, you can purchase it at an even lower price then! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2018
As a huge fan of Yurica, I bought this cushion thinking it'd be great since it's from Yurica, especially after finishing my compact. But honestly, there's not much to praise about it... This is the worst cushion I've ever used for touch-ups. At first, it seemed okay, but the more I used it, the worse the coverage and staying power became. I've never experienced a cushion deteriorate like this before. I had so much faith in Yurica, but I'm really disappointed. I ended up buying a different cushion and just tossing this one. Even the case is truly underwhelming. - rn***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 8, 2018
It makes my skin look soft and velvety without feeling overly dry! It gives my skin a slightly yellowish tint. Also, it's a bit too drying to use on its own. It works well when I apply a nourishing oil to combat deep dryness before using this cushion! - gi*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 31, 2017
The fact that it wasn't sticky? There's nothing really good about it... The case looks neat though. First off, those with dry skin should absolutely avoid this. It flakes terribly. The cushion itself is also completely subpar, so I recommend replacing it with a different one. Honestly, for me, it's really disappointing... There's nothing positive to add. It's just not good. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 18, 2017
It felt moisturizing and didn't leave a white cast. Unfortunately, the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. Even though I have dry skin, my T-zone and nose get oily quickly, causing my makeup to fade fast. It felt a bit heavy on my face during summer. I won't repurchase it. It doesn't cover blemishes or spots at all (unless you apply multiple layers, but then it pills). Even when I use it as a base, then apply cushion foundation and set with powder, it disappears when I sweat. I thought the sunscreen might be the issue, but when I used only the sunscreen, my skin felt overly dry. Interestingly, when I applied makeup, my face became quite itchy. I don't have super sensitive skin. - jy********Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 11, 2017
I'm a fan of Yurica products, already using their lip shield and face shield, so I was excited when they came out with a cushion. After trying it, I'd say it's not bad at all. I apply concealer first, then the cushion on top, and the adherence is great. It feels like it's coating my skin as I pat it on, resulting in a nice skin finish! It doesn't seem to be the type that leaves a completely matte finish. So I found that applying powder on top helps with the overall skin appearance. I personally prefer a matte look, so I use powder, but when doing so, you might need to double-check areas like the sides of the nose for any pilling. I found that applying a small amount, gently tapping from the center of the face outwards, and then using the remaining product on the nose seems to reduce pilling around the nose area.
