This lip product is amazing! I think I've found my holy grail... It's a bit inconvenient that it gets on your hands. The lip balm gets stuck under your nails.. Buy a brush separately and apply it with that. Highly recommended! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2015
I bought this because it's IU's lipstick, and the color payoff is great! Especially with liquid tints, they sometimes get on my teeth and I end up ingesting them, but that doesn't happen with this. I heard the packaging has been renewed to a lipstick form. I used to feel uneasy about accidentally eating lip products with food, but knowing it's made of natural ingredients that are safe to ingest is reassuring! The tints I used to wear would make my dead skin cells flake off after a while, causing me to pick at them until I bled, but this doesn't do that, which is fantastic! There's not much to complain about, but maybe the packaging could be a bit more sophisticated? - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 15, 2015
I bought this because IU's lips looked so beautiful in the ads! The natural color payoff is lovely. The hydration seems pretty good too. I'm not a big fan of red shades, but there are only two choices - this and baby pink. For a lip product, the color range is far too limited, unfortunately. It's been recently renewed as a stick format. Application has become much more convenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 15, 2015
It's natural yet the color payoff is better than expected. It doesn't emphasize lip flakiness, feels moisturizing, and I really like it. The downside is the limited color range, but I'm fond of this particular shade. The color becomes more vibrant with multiple applications. I like to apply a posi-tint and then layer this on the center of my lips. It creates a moisturizing, natural-looking gradient effect! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2015
The best thing about this product is its hydration power! It keeps your lips moisturized and gives them a lively appearance. The red isn't dull, but has a transparent quality that looks natural even without other makeup. It's perfect for those times when my lips are dry and prone to dead skin cells - I can apply it without any worry. So moisturizing~ The staying power is a bit lacking. And above all... having to apply it with your fingers is really inconvenient. If only they'd sell it with a lip brush... or at least make it in stick form... It's better to use a lip brush for a clean application, as applying with fingers could introduce dust particles - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2015
The ingredients are pretty good, and it has a natural color. It's moisturizing and great for creating a gradient look. To get a deeper color, you really need to apply multiple layers, which can make it feel a bit greasy. The scent isn't great - it smells similar to crayons. The left photo shows multiple applications, and the right one has even more. If you want a bold look, you'll need to apply it several times, which might be inconvenient. I initially wrote a review after one application, but I'm updating it now. The color fades quickly over time, probably because it's natural. That's definitely a drawback. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2015
Being natural, I could apply it even when my lips were chapped. Its portability was great throughout my trip to India. Even when applied lightly on bare skin, lips, and eyelids, it gave a radiant look. The glass container made storage hygienic. While it shouldn't be dropped, I'm quite clumsy and despite being careful, I ended up dropping it. Unfortunately, the plastic lid broke, which was disappointing. I wish there was a more hygienic way to use it, as I found myself applying it with my fingers. It's a twist-open jar type container. It's cheaper if you buy it at duty-free shops. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2015
This is my holy grail lip balm. I'm thrilled with both the hydration and color payoff! I tend to accidentally ingest lip products, but I feel safe with this one. The amount you get is generous too! I used to use Innisfree's Flower Tint Balm in Camellia, but it made my lip color look dull and left a stain that made me feel down. This product brought my lips back to life. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for. Everything's great except the staying power isn't the best, so I keep it in my bag and reapply frequently when I'm out. But I understand since it's a natural cosmetic product. Of course, it's meant for lips, but if you dab a bit at the outer corner under your eyes, it gives a soft pink tint that makes your eyes look more awake. It works well on cheeks too. - hj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 10, 2015
- Clean ingredients - Natural color payoff - Generous amount - Subtle natural rose scent - Moisturizing - Only available in two shades (red and pink) - Lacks staying power - Pricey for the amount (hesitant to buy without a coupon) - I've switched all my lip products to all-natural ones, especially since we unknowingly ingest a lot of what we put on our lips. This lip balm is great. (After using products from D*or, M*c, etc., I realized they contain too many harmful ingredients. Just imagine consuming all that...) - I'm almost on my second tube, and I've noticed my natural lip color has returned to a healthier, slightly reddish tone. Even with a bare face, applying this lip balm generously gives a natural, lively look. Good! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 7, 2015
Among ISOI products, this is my favorite lip balm. While individual experiences may vary, I was worried about the color payoff based on reviews, but it turned out to be a needless concern. It gives a beautiful, dewy rose tint to the lips, making them look vibrant and pretty. The staying power doesn't seem to be significantly less than other lip balms - and even if it were, what's wrong with reapplying often? The ingredients are great, so you can feel good about touching up while admiring yourself in the mirror! Despite frequent and generous use, I still have plenty left. It's a satisfying product with a pretty tint, moisturizing effect, good ingredients, and reasonable price. You might even receive it as a gratis item with other cosmetics purchases! I apply it with my fingers and use any excess on my cheeks. Since the ingredients are good, I just swipe it on and let my hands absorb the rest. The finger application might be a bit inconvenient for some people, depending on personal preference. I first apply Logona Lip Essence to moisturize my lips, then layer the ISOI lip balm on top. It looks even prettier than when applied alone, like a natural flower-stained effect. If you apply it more heavily in the center, you can create a gradient 'flower-stained' look. It also works great as a cheek tint!
