It's a transparent, water-like essence. At first glance, you might think it's just packed with hydration, but surprisingly, it has a rich texture that makes your skin feel plump and the effects last for a long time. I received this product as a gift and had no idea it was so expensive until I looked it up! The automatic dropper that fills with serum when you open the cap is super convenient. It's almost oil-free and packed with hydration, so after applying, my skin feels incredibly moisturized. This might be a love-it-or-hate-it feature, but it forms a film on the skin that seems to lock in moisture even better. When I wash my face in the morning, it feels silky smooth. Personally, I find it a bit uncomfortable to layer oil-based emulsions over products that form a film like this one, so that's a slight drawback for me. It's great to use when your skin needs a hydration boost!

I paused using it for a while to try a new ampoule I bought, but then went back to diligently finishing this one with the little that was left. First off, the ingredients are great and I even love the packaging. The glass bottle looks luxurious and provides good light protection. It has a lavender scent, and after applying, my face has a radiant glow and feels smooth and hydrated to the touch. Using this feels like I've just done a sheet mask. It also tightens the face, and the moment you apply it, fine lines seem to fade - though that effect is temporary. I always make sure to follow up with a moisturizer after using this. There's absolutely nothing negative to say. - I've tried all four, and this is by far the best! The texture is just right - not too light, not too heavy, with a perfect bouncy consistency that's fantastic before makeup!! - The dropper dispenser is so convenient, giving you a consistent amount each time - The packaging is so beautiful, it makes me happy every time I use it - Downsides? There aren't any... really, none at all. The glass case is super hygienic, luxurious, and user-friendly!

After it's fully absorbed, you can follow up with your serum. I received this as a magazine freebie and have been using it since. It's coming out again this month, so I'll likely order it. As a hydration ampoule, it's easy to incorporate into your existing routine and doesn't cause any blemishes! While it does have a dropper, it's a bit inconvenient. When you twist it closed, it automatically draws up the next dose. It might be easier if you could press it separately.
