- It's thin and looks natural. It's like it lets your skin texture shine through, you know? Looking at the texture alone, it's like bare skin. But the color evens out your complexion and brightens it, so you look naturally beautiful. True to its name, it feels more nude and bare-faced compared to other cushions! - The color itself is also natural. It's ivory like regular cushions, but it goes on with a slight hint of your original skin tone showing through! Because both the formula and color give such a bare-faced look, I find myself applying a bit more than usual. - The longevity and adherence are a bit disappointing as it fades over time. Being light and thin, it tends to fade rather than break down. It feels like 100% right after application, 80% after 30 minutes, and 50% after 8 hours. However, because it's thin, it doesn't get patchy, emphasize dead skin cells, or break down in an unsightly way. Additional note: It can pill a bit when applied over a brightening moisturizer, and occasionally it might pill slightly at other times, but it settles back down as it fades. I'm shade 22, but I used shade 2 for this.

As COVID-19 gradually subsides and we're taking our masks off more often, I find myself paying extra attention to my skin! It's crucial that makeup doesn't transfer onto masks, so you don't end up with patchy skin when you remove them. This cushion foundation deserves five stars in that regard! When applying, it feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. These days, we're all about that thin application, using cushions and spatulas, right? But with this one, I felt like I achieved an ultra-thin layer just using the cushion alone! This allows for buildable coverage with multiple thin layers. I'm not sure if it's because of how thinly it applies, but it feels super lightweight while still providing great coverage! To test it out, I pressed a tissue against my cheek, and there was absolutely no transfer! As someone with a winter cool tone who usually uses shade 21, I find this cushion's color a bit too natural-looking. If you prefer a brighter look, I'd recommend going up a shade.
