This is truly the most beautiful glossy balm out there. It's definitely worth the price, and the glow is absolutely dazzling, like a shimmering jewel! The price is a bit of a concern... You tend to apply this type of glossy balm frequently, so it runs out quickly. I've tried many glossy balms, but this one is incredibly similar to the Coral Haze glossy balm in terms of quality and effect.

After trying various testers of Hourglass Glossy Balm, I found that 'Desire' suits me best. It's great for smoothing out lip lines and perfect for creating plump, juicy lips. The best part? It's not sticky at all! The quantity you get for the price is a bit disappointing, and the staying power is pretty poor. The lip care effect is surprisingly good. My lips are quite thin and dry, so I usually don't feel immediate effects from lip balms other than Vaseline. However, this one was quite impressive. It's less sticky than I expected - I anticipated the stickiness of other gloss tints, but this was better than I thought. Due to its shine, many products can make lips feel tight, but this one doesn't. It's very comfortable. It provides a nice volumizing effect with a mild plumping action. As I have sensitive skin, I can't use most plumpers because they hurt. This one just feels cool and pleasant. My lips have a lot of wrinkles, and this smooths them out just enough, which is perfect. The shine is beautifully transparent, but the color is so light that it becomes dull when applied over a matte tint. It's just like a dewy glow tint... The photo shows it applied over Wake Make Water Blurring Fixing Tint (pre-renewal) in Pinky Ice on the inner lips, with Heart Percent Creamy Pink on the outer edges. It just looks like a glow tint. If you want to wear it alone, Etude might be better... Even when overlining with a lip pencil, if you apply it beyond the border, it immediately looks like you've eaten greasy food. Though this might just be my problem. If you layer it over a water tint or another glossy balm with more pigment on the inner lips, you get a beautiful transparent shine and a pretty gradient effect.
