I'm a winter cool tone, and I bought this to create a brown lip look in the US. It's pretty without being overwhelming. The color is more natural than I expected. It actually looks even prettier when applied than in the photos! There's a slight emphasis on fine lines, but it's not too noticeable. If you pair it with the matching 1993 lip liner, you can create a beautiful plump lip look reminiscent of American beauty trends.

Since the formula isn't completely matte, it doesn't appear too intense, making it less intimidating and more sophisticated than expected. Almost fragrance-free. The packaging is attractive. The price point is reasonable. Limited availability in stores. The glossy case is prone to fingerprints. The slippery, long cap makes it awkward to open and close. The dark shade might be season and skin tone-dependent, potentially too bold for everyday wear. As a comfort matte, it's not fully matte, so it's not recommended for those seeking a true matte lip. The slightly soft formula may not hold up well in summer heat. This shade seems particularly flattering when applied slightly over the lip line. Applying it just below the lower lip can create the illusion of fuller lips.
