As shown in the photo, it's an incredibly lightweight serum that flows smoothly. It absorbs well and has excellent application. When applied, it sinks in quickly, leaving a soft, matte finish. Personally, I prefer deeply hydrating products, so I found this a bit lacking. It might be too light for dry skin types and seems more suitable for summer use rather than during seasonal changes in fall and winter. The fragrance is quite polarizing, and for me, it was a strong dislike. While it's meant to capture the essence of nature, to me it smelled like an overpowering herbal medicine scent. I love how it has a lightweight texture that's easy to apply. It's also one of the larger sizes in the Aesop range. At first, it feels a bit sticky and the scent is quite strong.
