As shown in the photo, it's an incredibly lightweight serum that flows smoothly. It absorbs well and has excellent application. When applied, it sinks in quickly, leaving a soft, matte finish. Personally, I prefer deeply hydrating products, so I found this a bit lacking. It might be too light for dry skin types and seems more suitable for summer use rather than during seasonal changes in fall and winter. The fragrance is quite polarizing, and for me, it was a strong dislike. While it's meant to capture the essence of nature, to me it smelled like an overpowering herbal medicine scent. For those looking for a light skincare routine in summer, I think this serum paired with a hydrating moisturizer would work well. - bu***************Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2023
I love how it has a lightweight texture that's easy to apply. It's also one of the larger sizes in the Aesop range. At first, it feels a bit sticky and the scent is quite strong. - lu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2023
I've been using this product, formerly called 'Oil-Free Something', consistently since 2012. I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through. It suits me better than Parsley Seed, and I used to only buy it duty-free. When I tried to purchase it at a department store, the price was so steep that I attempted to switch to other hydrating serums. I tried many alternatives, but none worked for me (except for the Darphin Stimulskin Plus Serum). My skin would react badly, so despite the high cost, I always end up coming back to this one. The price... However, now that I'm back to buying it at duty-free prices, it's not so bad. I've attached a photo of the serum from its 'Oil-Free' days for verification. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2023
Personally, I preferred the Lightweight Serum over the Parsley Serum. The Parsley Serum tends to create a film that pills, but the Lightweight Serum absorbs completely without any pilling. It definitely leaves my skin feeling hydrated. However, it's not worth repurchasing at this price point, and the ingredients aren't particularly exceptional. Also, the bottle opening is too narrow, making it inconvenient to insert and remove the dropper. The product tends to drip out even without squeezing the dropper. Using this alone isn't quite enough; you'll need to follow up with a cream or emulsion. For extra hydration, try mixing it with a facial oil. - wi*********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2022
It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin moisturized without any oiliness. When applied before makeup, it creates a perfect base for flawless application! While the price might seem high at first glance, it's actually not a concern since the product comes in a generous size and you only need to use a small amount each time When used before makeup, it really helps the makeup adhere well - k2********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2022
Even those with extremely oily skin won't experience any slipping or greasy shine It's inconvenient to use as it drips out just by opening the container. Also, when reinserting the applicator, it spills over the sides, making it difficult to close the lid properly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2022
It's incredibly gentle and clean-feeling. Although it has a slightly viscous texture, it absorbs instantly upon application, causing no discomfort whatsoever. The hydration power is a bit weak to use this product alone. While it's sufficient by itself in summer, from autumn onwards you'll need to pair it with another cream or emulsion. It works wonderfully when used in combination with Aesop cleanser, serum, and cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2022
I love how it adheres to my face with a satisfyingly bouncy texture. This product has been a staple in my routine for at least 8 years now. It's frustrating that it's always sold out in stores. Whenever it's back in stock, I hoard 3-4 bottles at a time. The quality of the dropper could be improved. Apply the product directly to your face by gently tapping with the dropper. Since it's lightweight, it might feel a bit tight, so follow up with a generous layer of hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2022
The moment you apply it, you'll instantly understand what that firm, bouncy texture feels like. It has a pleasant scent too. The domestic price is way too high. Buying it from overseas is several thousand won cheaper. While it feels firm at first, it seems to evaporate quickly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2022
The scent is lovely, right up my alley! Aesop just has that signature brand appeal. It's all about the Aesop vibe. The price? The inconvenience of the packaging? Still, can't deny how good it feels to use it.
