It removes makeup well and is affordable. I found it pleasant and easy to use. It's a bit too rich in oil, and having to wipe it off with a tissue was a bit of a hassle. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2021
It's gentle and mild, without any irritation. Seems like a versatile product you can use without much fuss. The cleansing effectiveness is so low that I'm not sure if it's actually cleaning my skin properly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2021
TMI for those with time to spare: Etude had this 'Master Bingo' event where you'd fill a square for each item purchased over 5000 won. Turns out, some items under 5000 won didn't count, even though I'd calculated everything. That's why I've been avoiding Etude lately, but I couldn't just throw away what I'd bought, and returning would cost shipping, so I used it anyway. There weren't many positives, but why was it discontinued so soon after I bought it in April or May? Anyway, if I had to pick one good point: Large size At 180g, it's one of the larger cleansing products out there. Using just a fingernail-sized amount produces enough foam, so it should last 3-4 months with conservative use. Other than that, there weren't many positives. +I bought a new Etude tint, and despite claiming to use eco-friendly paper cushioning, they packaged it as shown in the photo. They might want to update their description. Packaging I'm not sure if you can even call it packaging. When I opened the lid, there was a thin, round, transparent plastic cover. It was so tightly stuck to the cream that I thought it had just hardened from age. I was surprised when I felt the plastic while trying to use it. Moreover, this so-called protective cover was smaller than the container opening, so product leaked out around the edges. LOL... Minimal effects They've given it a fancy name like 'pore cleansing', but the effects weren't really noticeable. Maybe it's because I haven't used it much yet, but truly good products show immediate improvements in skin condition, so I'd say this one isn't that effective. Scent It has that chemical smell, like old-fashioned cosmetics. The fragrance was quite strong when applied to the face, which I didn't like. Texture The texture is creamy, but it feels like cream mixed with about three spoonfuls of water - a bit runny. If you were expecting a soft, powdery feel when touched, you might be disappointed. Jar packaging The jar packaging isn't hygienic. However, there's a tube version available if you prefer, though it's more expensive, so consider your options carefully. This isn't a product flaw, but a characteristic of buying from the Etude online store: They use paper tape to appear eco-friendly, but inside there's bubble wrap (not even water-soluble corn packing peanuts), hard-to-remove paper stuck with adhesive at the bottom, and hard-to-tear plastic wrap packaging. It would be nice if they made the inner packaging more environmentally friendly too. The instructions say to use with dry hands. This is probably to prevent water from mixing into the container, which could be detrimental. For better hygiene, consider using a separate container for daily use. - da*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 4, 2021
I bought this cleansing cream out of nostalgia, even though it's not trendy anymore. It's thinner than before, making it less oily and more refreshing to roll on. It's great at clearing out pores, and I'm extremely satisfied. I'm using it very comfortably. The container is surprisingly large. While there's plenty of product to use generously, its flat and bulky shape makes storage challenging. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2021
It's affordable, moisturizing, and gentle. This seems to be a nice, mild cleansing cream for sensitive skin. It's not greasy or heavy, and rinses off easily with warm water. The cleansing effectiveness is weak. It can remove light makeup like cushion foundation and eyebrow products, but it struggles with eyeshadow and mascara, leaving most of it behind. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 8, 2020
I loved how it rolled on smoothly. The scent wasn't bad either. It really stings if it gets in your eyes, and it doesn't emulsify properly. Double cleansing is a must. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2020
It removes makeup well and leaves my skin clean. Plus, I don't get any blemishes. It's such an excellent product! It's been discontinued. Why? Please bring it back! Just scoop it out and wipe it off, and you're done! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2019
Even though I don't wear heavy makeup, I loved how well it removed everything. It was also gentle on my skin with minimal irritation. While there wasn't anything particularly disappointing, you need to be mindful of hygiene when scooping out the product if you don't have a separate tool. You'll still need to follow up with a second cleanse after using this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 13, 2019
The price is affordable. That was the one good thing about it... After using it, my face felt like it wasn't properly cleansed? I'm not sure if its cleansing effectiveness is any good. - pa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
The best part is that even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes, which is why I've been using it for several bottles since before it was reformulated. It's effective at removing light makeup. Of course, it struggles with mascara, but most people use a separate remover for eye makeup anyway, so that's not a big issue. The jar packaging is inconvenient. It doesn't even come with a spatula. It would be much better if they changed it to a pump dispenser. They often have sales, so try to purchase it during those times!
