It's truly gentle and great for blemish-prone skin. The product absorbs well too! The only downside seems to be that it's slightly lacking in hydration. - ch*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 23, 2025
With 10% panthenol, this product works wonders when your skin is acting up. It calms irritation quickly. I tried a sample and loved it so much that I bought the full-size. It's affordable and has amazing soothing effects. It's a shame more people don't know about this gem. Due to its high panthenol content, the texture isn't the smoothest to apply. It's a bit on the thick side. When your skin is really struggling, try this: after toner, apply a generous layer of this cream before bed. You'll wake up to noticeably calmer skin. - dn*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 22, 2025
✅️ I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Despite being fragrance-free, I initially expected it might smell medicinal. However, it has no unpleasant scent - neither medicinal nor metallic - which I really appreciate. ✅️ The balm-like formula creates a protective barrier on the skin, feeling slightly thick upon application. While it doesn't absorb instantly, making it less ideal for rushed mornings, it's perfect as part of an evening skincare routine. ✅️ It contains panthensoside, which is beneficial for sensitive skin. This combines panthenol (strengthens skin barrier, soothes dry skin) with madecassoside (calms irritated skin, protects) and Centella Asiatica (known for its soothing properties). ✅️ The low pH, gentle formula is a winner. It's designed to maintain skin's oil-water balance even during seasonal changes, which I found really effective. ✅️ I'm impressed by its 9-free clean formula. It's free from animal-derived ingredients, mineral oils, polyacrylamide, imidazolidinyl urea, triethanolamine, synthetic dyes, fragrances, PEGs, and parabens. This makes for a gentler, more skin-friendly product. As mentioned earlier, the slow absorption rate is a drawback. It can pill if applied hastily, which makes it inconvenient for busy mornings or workdays when you're in a rush. - fr*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 3, 2025
I was drawn to this product because of its high panthenol content. It's an attractive option due to its high concentration of active ingredients relative to its price. I'm also pleased with its balanced moisturizing power, rich texture, and how well it absorbs! Since my skin is quite prone to reactions, I unfortunately developed small bumps after using this cream. Now I'm only applying it to my body instead of my face. - al*******Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 28, 2025
This seems perfect for those with combination dehydrated skin. It doesn't feel greasy and helps combat deep dryness. There's no fragrance, which is nice. It's just a solid, reliable choice. Perhaps due to its gentleness, it doesn't cause any blemishes. I loved that it's neither too heavy nor too light. It's fantastic to apply in the morning before makeup - your foundation won't pill, and it creates a great base for your makeup to adhere to! It might be a bit dry for the dead of winter. It's probably best suited for spring to early summer, or fall. Since it may take a little while to absorb, I find it works perfectly if you apply this cream in the morning, dry your hair, and then do your makeup. Given how dependable it is, I'd definitely consider repurchasing if the price was more affordable. However, if it's on the pricier side, I'm not so sure. - lo********Normal SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 12, 2025
It's incredibly gentle, so I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes! I bought it on a friend's recommendation. Well, it's just basic, so it's hard to expect any special benefits. However, the ingredients are gentle, so it doesn't cause any blemishes. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
I've been consistently purchasing and using the Etude Soon Jung line along with their Cica Balm since it was introduced! As someone with super sensitive skin, I had many skin concerns, but my skin condition has improved compared to before. I hope they never discontinue this product! I absolutely highly recommend this! It's especially great to use during fall and winter. Of course, I personally use it all year round. When blemishes appear, applying this immediately helps calm them down quickly. It also reduces itching, which makes me extremely satisfied. - yo*********Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 2, 2025
This is my go-to repurchase for winter! It's perfect for combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. While it's quite thick and doesn't spread easily, it works wonders as a nighttime skincare treatment. I apply it generously before bed, and wake up to incredibly soft, smooth skin the next morning. The absorption isn't great. It feels like it sits on top of the skin. You need to spread it out and pat it in repeatedly to help it absorb. - qk***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 7, 2025
Great ingredients, affordable price, and gentle on sensitive skin with no irritation. Given its name as a 'balm', it's understandable, but the absorption isn't particularly impressive. - en*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
My skin barrier was compromised and I was suffering from dermatitis. Most skincare products took forever to absorb, and even those claiming to be oil-free just sat on top of my skin. But this one? It genuinely absorbs like a dream! Oh my... What on earth were they thinking with this scent? I'm usually fine with unusual cosmetic fragrances, but this goes beyond strange into downright unpleasant territory. It's not just bad, it's absolutely foul! It's so off-putting that I'm tempted to deduct a star just for the smell. The odor isn't overpowering or in-your-face, but as you apply it all over your face, including near your nose, you can't escape it. It's just plain stinky - like unwashed clothes after sweating or something vaguely reminiscent of... well, you know. This isn't exactly a tip, but just something to keep in mind: there's absolutely no feeling of heaviness after application. However, when you're spreading it, there's a slightly sticky sensation. Just wanted to mention that for your reference.
