I only wear foundation for my makeup, and this cleanser does a great job removing it without leaving my skin feeling tight. I started with the lavender version and liked it so much that I'm now rotating through the other varieties. I used to prefer cleansers that left my skin feeling squeaky clean, but this one feels a bit slippery. I've gotten used to it now, but if you're someone who likes that super clean feeling, you might want to skip this one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 23, 2016
After cleansing, there's no skin tightness and my complexion feels incredibly soft! Unlike an oil-to-foam cleanser, the oil doesn't seem to rinse off completely. It's great for morning cleansing or as a second step after using a foam cleanser. Don't expect rich, foamy lather like you'd get from a foam cleanser. - pu*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessJul 18, 2014
Almost water-like transparent formula with a lightweight feel! While it doesn't create abundant foam, the small, soft bubbles give a gentle cleansing sensation on the skin. After washing, it leaves your face feeling refreshed without any deep dryness, just pure hydration! If you're used to cleansers with rich lather, this might take some getting used to. It doesn't produce much foam, just a light, shallow lather. It's probably not the best for removing heavy makeup! I used the Eucalyptus version, but since it's not listed here, I'm writing this under Lavender. Comparing it with the Lemon variant in the same product line, I noticed the ingredients are similar, so I'm piggybacking on this herbal Lavender listing. It's perfect for a light morning cleanse or as a second step after using cleansing oil for double cleansing. Works hard for combination dehydrated skin!
