For fall and winter mornings, I love using this as part of my pre-makeup routine. After toner and before sunscreen, applying just this one product perfectly balances oil and moisture. It leaves my skin comfortable without any tightness, while creating a thin, smooth base that prevents makeup from looking cakey. As someone in my 50s with dry skin, I need both hydration and a touch of richness for comfort, and this works perfectly for that. The fragrance is quite strong compared to other skincare products these days. Application: Smooth! Except for the T-zone, adding this ampoule to my regular skincare routine balanced my skin's oil and moisture well. However, not recommended for combination or oily skin in the morning. Absorption: Absorbs well without sitting on the surface - great for dry skin types! The ingredients are fantastic too, except for the fragrance. When I apply it before bed, for some reason the next day my makeup goes on incredibly smoothly. Maybe it's the brightening effect, but I can feel my complexion becoming a bit more radiant! The absorption and how it applies? Not great. It feels like it's creating a film and is a bit suffocating. While the ingredients are gentle, it seems to cause tiny bumps when applied. My acne-prone skin is particularly sensitive right now, so I've stopped using it for now. Once my skin calms down, I'll try it again and update my review if it's better. The scent was wonderful when I first tried it on my hand, but when applied to my whole face, it felt quite strong. Packaging: I believe the exterior appearance reflects the brand's image and aspirations. First off... as you can see in the attached photo, it's really beautiful. The eco-friendly packaging makes me feel good about opening it. Even the label on the container is designed to be easily removed later. 2. Absorption: It has a creamy texture. I'd say it's about 80% the consistency of a nourishing cream. 3. Fragrance: This is the real showstopper... It's the first time in my life that I've applied a product at night and could still smell its fragrance the next morning. It has a slight floral scent, which I personally love. 4. Effects: After application, your skin looks glossy and radiant. I wanted to upload a photo, but it doesn't do justice to how it looks in real life, so I hesitated to post it. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I just think I'll be using this product regularly if there are more discount events in the future... haha.
