It absorbs quickly into the skin, likely due to its alcohol content. It seems to have a disinfecting effect when used on acne-prone skin, which increases my confidence when applying medication. It stings if it gets into your eyes, and those sensitive to scents should be cautious due to its artificial fragrance. Also, it's only available at dermatology clinics. - dk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 15, 2023
For those of us who consistently battle blemishes in summer, this is an essential product. After cleansing, I apply it to a cotton pad and wipe my face. It feels like it's effectively clearing away all the excess oil that builds up during the day. In winter, it might not provide deep hydration. Also, those with super sensitive skin might find the alcohol scent uncomfortable. A summer must-have - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2023
It's great for quickly calming down hives and providing rapid relief The strong alcohol scent is off-putting, and it's inconvenient that it's only available for purchase at dermatology clinics - c9********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsDec 4, 2022
It's a bit unpredictable - sometimes it tingles, sometimes it's fine. Seems like a toner with a bit of kick to it. Probably a good fit for those with oily skin. If you have dry skin, this might not be your best bet. On the plus side, it does seem to help refine skin texture. For combination dehydrated skin types, you might want to layer this with a hydrating serum for better results. - ch********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2020
Given the current situation, I've been wearing a mask every day, which led to a lot of blemishes popping up. I ended up visiting a dermatologist! The doctor told me that my skin type is prone to breakouts when using oily products, so they recommended this one. I decided to give it a try... At first, I found it hard to get used to because it stung a bit and had a strong alcohol scent. But as I continued using it, I noticed fewer blemishes appearing, and it doesn't leave a sticky residue - the finish is really clean. It's especially great on days when I've had extractions at the dermatologist's office. My skin tends to be super sensitive and red after that, but if I apply this toner with a cotton pad on the treated areas, it calms down quickly. Drawbacks to consider: • The alcohol scent is quite strong. I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike alcohol fragrances. • If you're sensitive to tingling sensations, this might not be for you. • It's a shame it's only available at dermatology clinics. • I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin types. Instead of applying it directly with your hands, it's better to use a cotton pad. Use it with a gentle wiping motion as if you're cleansing your skin. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsDec 8, 2020
When I applied the toner, my acne-prone areas stung intensely, but surprisingly, that sensation seemed to help calm the blemishes quickly. It was quite remarkable! It really stings and hurts a lot. If you have acne and can't tolerate the burning sensation, I strongly advise against buying this. Moreover, the acetone smell is overwhelmingly strong... Apply it to your face using a cotton pad, then gently fan your skin. This helps reduce the stinging sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2020
I think this would be fantastic for those with extremely oily skin. The excess oil that always plagued my face has completely vanished, and my blemishes have noticeably disappeared! The only downside is that my previously oily skin experienced some dryness accompanied by dead skin cells and itching. I recommend using this in combination with a hydrating product. I recommend using this entire line, from the cleanser to the sunscreen! - ck*******Oily SkinAcne SkinOct 26, 2020
It absorbs well and quickly without any tingling sensation, which is great The downside is that it's only available at dermatology clinics and the price might be a bit steep for students - 10*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 15, 2020
My skin is peculiar - it gets itchy for no reason and then blemishes pop up in red patches. I think it's because I have oily skin. But underneath, it feels extremely tight, and I get a lot of dead skin cells, which makes my makeup look flaky. I started using this toner when my dermatologist recommended it while I was struggling with acne. At first, when I used it after getting a scaling treatment at the clinic, I thought it was terrible because it caused a lot of peeling and stinging. But after my acne improved and I went back concerned about my pores, they gave me a sample of this product. Surprisingly, when I felt like blemishes were about to appear, I'd soak a cotton pad with it and leave it on for a moment, and it would calm my skin down. It was amazing! The alcohol scent is so strong it could knock you out. You can't use it liberally like a regular toner or all hell will break loose. You have to apply it very gently and only on areas that feel oily and heavy. When wiping with a cotton pad, it can sting a bit on blemish-prone skin. It's also disappointing that you can only buy it from dermatology clinics and that it's quite expensive. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2020
The alcohol content quickly makes my skin feel fresh and matte. Since I have oily skin, it seems to control sebum well. It appears to be effective in calming inflammatory acne. The alcohol scent is so strong it almost hurts my nose. You need to saturate a cotton pad thoroughly to reduce irritation when applying it to your face. Because of this, the product runs out quickly.
