As someone with extremely dry skin on my body rather than my face, I need to use a body emulsion every single day of the year, even in the peak of summer! While my skin doesn't crack, it does get flaky and feels tight if I don't apply a body emulsion. My dry skin also makes the keratosis pilaris on my calves more noticeable, so I always make sure to apply plenty of body emulsion after showering. Due to my dry skin, I typically go for products with good hydration, and the Cica Ceramide Body Emulsion has been working well for me - I've been using it consistently for about a year now. Texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's an emulsion with just the right amount of viscosity. Being a hydrating product, it's not as runny as water, but it's not thick either, so it's easy to apply. It feels like a regular emulsion when you put it on. Scent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has a powdery floral scent... kind of fresh and fragrant at the same time. I really like the fragrance! I prefer subtle scents over strong ones, and this one suits my taste perfectly. I especially love how it leaves a soft, fabric softener-like scent on my skin after it's fully absorbed. Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️ While it's more hydrating than your average body emulsion, it's not an intense moisturizer. For someone with dry skin like me, it's most suitable for spring and fall. After using it throughout the year, I found it a bit heavy for summer and a bit light for winter. (Those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit dry even in autumn.) In winter, applying an extra layer on particularly dry areas helped improve the hydration. Absorption & Stickiness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although it has a somewhat rich texture, it absorbs surprisingly well. It sinks into the skin nicely without feeling like it's sitting on top. As for stickiness, it's about what you'd expect from a typical body emulsion. Still, it absorbs well, so your skin feels soft and smooth pretty quickly. There's nothing particularly bad about this product for me. You can buy 500ml online for less than 10,000 won, which I think is great value for money considering its decent hydration and pleasant scent. - aa***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedNov 25, 2019 (UTC+0)
For sensitive, dry, and allergy-prone skin with atopic dermatitis: I have dry skin, so I always apply a body emulsion after showering. I happened to spot this barrier-moisturizing product at the supermarket and it looked promising, so I bought it. Although it's an emulsion type, it feels less thick and applies lightly. Personally, I absolutely love the scent, which is similar to a fresh herbal aroma. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. Those who need more intense hydration in winter might find it slightly lacking. - ei**Combination SkinAcneRecommendedSep 5, 2019 (UTC+0)
It's labeled for extremely dry skin, so I took a gamble and bought it. Surprisingly, it's not heavy at all. After application, there's no sticky feeling, and I've been using it comfortably even in the peak of summer. Its lightweight nature is both a pro and a con. Since I hadn't used a body emulsion for a few months, my skin might have become quite dry. When I apply it alone after a morning shower, it feels slightly inadequate. - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2019 (UTC+0)
For years, I've struggled with an itchy, dry skin condition that caused dead skin cells to build up. Even after visiting doctors, my legs wouldn't heal. Amazingly, after applying this emulsion, my legs have improved! I'm so thrilled with the results, I highly recommend it! There's honestly nothing bad to say. It works great for me, but some people might not like the scent of the ginkgo leaf extract. It's fantastic for dry legs!
