The color is absolutely gorgeous... What's more, it's not overly matte and feels moisturizing. The pigmentation and application are excellent. There's no cracking either. I use it as a base lip color, on its own, and sometimes I apply it under lip and cheek tints. For a nude lip look, I just dab a bit in the center as an accent. Basically, I'm saying I use it all the time. I'll definitely repurchase - please don't discontinue this product! Well... The intense lip color might emphasize dead skin cells a bit. But it's fine if you exfoliate before applying! Try using it with a lip and cheek tint, seriously...

If your lips are dry, it might accentuate dead skin cells, appearing white. It's best to apply a glossy lip product on top or ensure your lips are well-moisturized before application. Oh, this is my holy grail... Anyone who says this isn't good probably didn't do their research before buying! While it's not an overly flashy product - it's on the subtle side - I find it absolutely perfect. As someone with fair skin, I love that it doesn't have any sparkle, giving it a sophisticated and beautiful look. Personally, I tend to go for bold makeup, and the color of this lip product is insane. It's very similar to what you see in the photos. I tested it once at the store and bought it immediately. The staying power is great by my standards, as long as you're not eating or drinking (it does transfer easily). I went through a 1.5-hour cardio workout, 1 hour of Zumba, 1 hour of dance class, plus over an hour on public transport, and I didn't need to reapply once during that time! If you apply it a bit too firmly, there can be some smudging at the top edge. But it's so pretty, it's forgivable, right? Personally, I like to apply lip balm three or four times before putting on this lip color. I think this is the best lip product that meets the cool, mute, and matte criteria. It's truly beautiful when used as a base. It can feel quite dry due to its very matte finish, and it may accentuate fine lines when applied to dry lips. Pro tip: Get a tube of lip balm from Daiso for about $3. Apply a tiny bit of that first, then this lipstick. It won't feel dry at all and works wonderfully. It complements light undertones beautifully. The blurring formula makes your skin look smooth when applied. The best part is that it doesn't sit on top of the skin - it's amazing! There's nothing particularly bad about it. Shade 21 Winter Dark - Color: It appears much lighter when applied to the lips! It's a cool-toned base with a light purple hue. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't become overly intense. It's the perfect cool-toned base lip color! - Texture: The velvety smooth texture is absolutely delightful! While it's a matte lipstick, it doesn't feel excessively drying. The adherence to the lips seems excellent. - Feel: Comfortable on the lips - Staining: Being a lipstick, it doesn't leave a stain. I appreciate that the color doesn't deepen over time. - Accentuates dead skin cells: As expected with matte lipsticks, it does highlight dead skin cells somewhat! It's best to exfoliate before application. - The color won't show up if applied over lip balm! If you've applied lip balm, wipe it off with a tissue before applying this lipstick.
