I had an allergic reaction and my face swelled up. On the bright side, it does apply smoothly. The allergic reaction turned my face red. If you experience any allergic reactions, discontinue use immediately and consult a dermatologist. I've been using this moisturizer for over a decade! The fragrance-free formula is so gentle and worry-free. It can sting quite a bit when applied to chapped skin in winter. The high price point is a drawback. This long-time favorite hydration cream has been my go-to for years. Its unscented formula is perfect for those with sensitive skin. However, be cautious when using it on very dry or irritated skin during colder months, as it may cause some tingling. Also, the larger size is slightly more economical, so if it suits your skin, definitely opt for the bigger jar. For daytime makeup, apply two thin layers. This product is a go-to for both my combination dehydrated skin and my husband's atopic skin! Occasionally, when our skin is acting up and we apply it, there might be a slight burning sensation. However, it usually improves within a few days. The hydration and rich texture are plentiful, so we're consistently using it! When my skin is not in its best condition, applying this can be a bit challenging due to the burning sensation! Other than that, I absolutely recommend it!
