I loved how smooth it felt when applying and how well the color showed up. Sometimes it accentuated lip dead skin cells a bit. Those with severe flaking should be cautious. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2021
The color is fantastic! Despite being a matte lip product, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells and has excellent staying power. I couldn't find any drawbacks... - wl*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2021
*Shade 21 for deep undertone skin Pros: 1. Smooth application The moment you apply it, it feels like butter! It's like Clio's lip formula has evolved over time. I always exfoliate, so I can't comment on how it looks on dry lips. 2. Great adherence For a lipstick, it adheres well. If you apply a thin layer, blot with a tissue, and wear a mask, it transfers less than other lipsticks! However, being a lipstick, it's still vulnerable to food. 3. Unique color There's an intriguing quality to it - I can't tell if it's pink or a coral-pink blend. Either way, it's not a common shade, which is a plus! 4. Scent This might be divisive, but it has a slight chocolate-like scent! I find it quite nice! Cons: 1. Texture There's a slight discomfort as it feels like it's sitting on top of the lips rather than sinking in. I guess that's because it needs to be soft despite being matte. 2. Bullet shape The flat-cut bullet shape makes it difficult to create a gradient look. I always end up using a cotton swab! The photos show gradient and full lip application in that order! - bu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2021
The color payoff and adherence are excellent, making it easy to use. Although it's a matte lip product, it applies smoothly and doesn't feel overly drying. I'm not sure if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, but when I cleanse at night after wearing it, I notice the area around my lips feels itchy and slightly swollen. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2021
It's a vibrant hot pink shade that beautifully complements those with deep undertones or cool skin tones. The color really pops and looks gorgeous! There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. The only letdown is that it seems to have been discontinued. - so********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2020
The color is gorgeous! Calling all cool-toned beauties! If you're a cool tone who rocks vibrant shades, you've got to try this. It's a fluorescent mix of 80% pink and 20% red, but on me it felt like a bold neon pink. It's absolutely stunning... wow. The formula applies with a plump finish, so it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much. There might be slight differences depending on the shade, but I noticed a bit of staining. Unless you're eating, the staying power is pretty impressive! There's something... it feels like the reformulation has made it a bit slippery compared to before. Once you blot it, it's fine though! It does transfer a bit, so expect your mask to turn pink! - ju*********Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 24, 2020
Application texture: The smooth, velvety application was a pleasant surprise. I was concerned it might feel dry due to its matte finish, but contrary to my expectations, it glides on beautifully. Color - Artificial hue: While this may vary from person to person, I personally noticed a fluorescent pink undertone. It has a hot pink mixed with neon quality that makes the lip color look somewhat unnatural and far from a natural lip shade. Shape - Solid piece: Unlike many lip products designed with a pointed tip for easy application to the inner lips, this one has a solid, flat surface where it touches the lips. This makes it slightly less convenient to apply to the inner parts of the lips compared to other lipsticks. Dabbing technique: Since the color is quite intense when applied in one swipe, creating a gradient effect by gently dabbing produces a prettier result. - go******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2020
As this is such a famous product, let me summarize its key points: * Vibrant color payoff with just one swipe * Easy to create a gradient effect * While it's a red-infused fuchsia pink designed for cool complexions, I found it flattering and lively even on my warm or neutral skin tone when dabbed on the inner lips or mixed with other shades * Despite being a matte formula, it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, making it comfortable to wear * Those who strictly avoid matte formulas might find it a bit drying * May not suit extremely warm skin tones As mentioned above, even those with warm complexions shouldn't hesitate to use it as an accent on the inner lips - ba*********Combination SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
I think this pink-red lip color is versatile enough for both warm and cool skin tones. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells, so you'll need to exfoliate your lips before use. - th********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 6, 2020
If you're craving a fuchsia pink but find it a bit intimidating, I highly recommend this one! It's mixed with red, so it should be more wearable. It's the perfect shade for summer, I'm in love! Since it's a non-staining lipstick, the staying power isn't great unfortunately.
