Even with long hair, a small amount creates an impressive lather, making shampooing a real pleasure. The fragrance is subtle, and I was amazed at how soft my hair felt without using conditioner. As someone with an oily scalp, I was impressed that my hair stayed grease-free from morning until evening after washing. This product really works hard! I'll definitely be repurchasing. The packaging is a bit inconvenient. It would be much easier to use if it had a pump dispenser. That's the only downside for me. Your hair feels soft even without conditioner. Since this is a regular shampoo, I alternate it with a scalp-specific shampoo about twice a week. - lo******Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 12, 2020
The addictive mango yogurt scent of this shampoo makes it hard to use anything else. It eliminates scalp oiliness and leaves my hair feeling refreshed. The volume is also great. There are no downsides. I just wish they would have sales or buy-one-get-one-free offers. I'll definitely stock up if they do. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2020
The only good thing is the scent... Don't buy this, everyone. I'm worried. Why did they add microplastics? Seriously... I trusted their scalp care promotion and bought it at Olive Young, but... Ugh, I'm so angry. It contains microplastics! Everyone, please avoid this product. I have another new one, but throwing it away would be just like disposing of microplastics... Sigh... To think I have to toss it all in the trash... Seriously, stop making products like this! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2020
Less itchy than regular shampoos. Great value for money, and has a pleasant scent for a gentle product. Slightly more itchy compared to specialized gentle shampoos. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2019
It's wonderfully hydrating and the scent lasts a long time, which I love. However, I wouldn't recommend it to those who aren't fans of mango fragrance. Since it's not a pump bottle, it can be a bit inconvenient to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2018
The main reason I tried this product was the scent! The fragrance was absolutely delightful. I consider the scent of shampoo quite important, so I bought two bottles and used them quite well. The cleansing effectiveness is comparable to that of a typical shampoo. (However, compared to the cool, tingling sensation you get from scalp exfoliation these days, this one doesn't have that refreshing feel) If you have a healthy scalp, you might enjoy using this freely for its pleasant scent. However, for those with sensitive scalps or oily hair, apart from the fragrance, it doesn't offer significant advantages over other functional products. You might be better off looking for alternative options Using a foam maker to lather up the shampoo allowed me to extend its use! - qh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedNov 21, 2018
Overall, I'm really satisfied with this product! First, I loved the scent. It's not your typical shampoo smell, and it's not that cheap, light ylang-ylang fragrance either! Secondly, before using this product, my scalp was generally quite oily. I happened to choose this while switching between different products, and it has significantly improved my symptoms! While my hair was already damaged, using just the shampoo made it feel very dry. I'm on my third bottle now, and lately, it's so difficult to even run my fingers through my hair after shampooing. I'm also using Klorane's ylang-ylang treatment and spray essence, and the fragrance lasts longer. It has also helped a lot with the dryness! - ts******Dry SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2018
The scent isn't typical of shampoo, it's more like a cosmetic fragrance. While the aroma is pleasant, it wasn't quite to my taste. (I prefer the classic salon shampoo scent) My hair suddenly became frizzy and felt like straw, as if it would go up in flames if lit. This prompted me to buy this product. I noticed many products here emphasize being silicone-free, though I wasn't sure why that's beneficial. I purchased based on site reviews. I can't say the dryness has improved much. It doesn't feel like a treatment or offer any noticeable hair protection. While writing this, I researched and found that silicone oils can coat hair, making it feel smoother. The downside is they may clog pores, potentially harming scalp health. In conclusion, my experience suggests that silicone-free isn't necessarily better for dry hair. Although not listed on Hwahae, I highly recommend the ylang-ylang mist from the same line. As a leave-in product, it should effectively showcase the benefits of being silicone-free. It also claims UV protection, though I'm a bit skeptical. I used it during a beach vacation, but couldn't tell if its ineffectiveness was due to water exposure or the product itself. Still, I believe UV protection is always a good idea!
