As a tinted sunscreen, it eliminates the need for additional foundation It keeps causing blemishes on my face, and you have to shake it before applying, otherwise only oil comes out - lc********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2022
It doesn't cause blemishes and doesn't give that suffocating feeling of clogged pores! The color matches my skin tone well, so it's not for brightening, but it's great for easy, carefree application! If you don't shake it well before use, the oily component separates and comes out separately. - ss******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2020
I have extremely sensitive, seborrheic skin. My skin is so delicate that I was searching for products based on ingredients when I discovered this one. Even though it's a mineral sunscreen, it absorbs beautifully. Some people say it's too matte and leaves a white cast, but honestly, it doesn't at all. It sinks in with amazing adherence without feeling greasy, which I love. If it continues to work well for me, I'd be happy to keep using it indefinitely! First off, the SPF is too low for summer, which was disappointing. Also, after applying this, painful blemishes would appear, so I couldn't use it more than a few times. Now it's just sitting abandoned on my vanity. What a shame. After your skincare routine, make sure to let everything dry completely before applying sunscreen. When you're doing your makeup, also leave a bit of time between steps. It won't pill at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2018
First and foremost, it's all about the ingredients! The formula is clean. After my skin reacted badly to another sunscreen, I started searching for products with good ingredients. I was satisfied just knowing this one had no harmful components. Surprisingly, my irritated skin calmed down. While intensive care might have helped, I was grateful it didn't worsen. I've been using it since June, and it's now December - my skin hasn't had any major issues. The pore coverage is excellent. Without using a primer, it filled in wrinkles and pores, creating a beautiful canvas for makeup. It's truly the best sunscreen I've found for pore coverage, though you need to cleanse thoroughly at night. The texture is unique for a sunscreen. My sister said it feels like applying fine sand. It leaves a truly powdery finish. For those with oily skin looking for a matte sunscreen, this is unbeatable. I used it all summer without any greasiness. The price is really... expensive. I expected it to cost more being a foreign brand, but it's truly pricey. Also, if you don't have a solid skincare base, the sunscreen can pill. Make sure your skincare routine is on point before using this. The color can look a bit dull. Some say it has a correcting effect, but for me, it seemed to darken my complexion, even though I have slightly tanned skin. One other thing - you must shake it before use. If you don't, an oily substance drips out. Always shake well before applying. Because it's so powdery and matte, those with dry skin should think carefully before purchasing. For perfect use of the Coola sunscreen, remember two key points: 1. Apply and fully absorb your skincare products first. 2. Shake the product vigorously to mix well before use. Follow these steps, and you'll get the best results! - ju******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2018
This sunscreen is a must-have for someone like me who doesn't use BB cream or foundation! It provides some skin correction, but the effect seems to vary depending on your complexion. With my natural 21 shade skin, I felt it made me look a bit brighter, while my friend with a slightly darker complexion didn't notice much difference. The best part? It leaves my skin feeling incredibly matte. I mean, really matte. Since using this sunscreen, I've never had to worry about facial oil. I'm on my third bottle now, and it hasn't caused any blemishes - I love it! As I mentioned earlier, because it's so matte, it absolutely won't help conceal any dead skin cells if you have them. Also, when I was getting treatments at the dermatologist and had extractions done, you know how the skin around a healing pimple can get slightly flaky? Well, this sunscreen made all of that visible, so I always had to touch up after applying it. I guess that's the trade-off for the matte finish. Many people mention that this sunscreen separates, but in my experience, if you store the bottle lying down, it doesn't separate at all! However, if you store it standing up, the oil and other ingredients seem to separate quickly, which reduces its matte effect significantly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2018
The way it absorbs is absolutely killer! It would be the perfect holy grail product if it weren't for the slight pilling. It's not great. My face felt hot and irritated. What a total waste of money! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 26, 2018
I love matte sunscreens, so this was perfect for me. It's great that my makeup doesn't pill even after applying sunscreen. I'm even more pleased that it has skin-friendly ingredients. My husband absolutely hates sticky or oily sunscreens, but seeing him use several tubes of this Cool Matte Tint, I think it might be even more suitable for men. While the tube packaging is hygienic to use, when it's almost empty, there's still some product left inside that won't come out. So I end up having to cut open the tube to use it all up. Highly recommended for those with oily skin. It works well for me even though I have combination skin. I think this could become a holy grail item for people who dislike sticky sunscreens. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2018
It was pretty decent. The price wasn't too bad, and the scent was quite pleasant. Overall, not a bad experience. No complaints to mention. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2018
I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my baby, because I heard the ingredients were good. However, even after shaking it well, the color has a yellowish, dull tone, and it's extremely oily, applying very thinly. I'm worried if it's even providing enough sun protection or if it's gone bad due to a short expiration date. It's so oily that it spreads too thinly, and sometimes it pills. I'll have to try letting it dry before applying makeup, like others have suggested. I bought this Coola product because I heard good things, but I'm disappointed by how inconvenient it is to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 4, 2017
I tried the 5mL sample and liked it so much that I bought the full size. It's not sticky and applies smoothly, which I'm really satisfied with. I had to stop using it because I started getting small blemishes on my forehead, which I've never had before. If it weren't for these blemishes, it would be the perfect sunscreen. Also, the price is a bit steep. I'm even doubtful about its sun protection effectiveness since it contains such a small amount of zinc oxide. Before using, you need to shake it vigorously, like you're shaking a pedometer.
