I really liked how it felt like it was specifically targeting and treating my blackheads However, when I applied it with my hands, the blackheads didn't really go away. If anything, they seemed to get worse... - ye***********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 25, 2024
I bought this specifically to target blackheads on my nose, and it's working great! The texture is too thick and stiff, making it quite difficult to rub in. - wp******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 3, 2024
🙋♂️Author Information🙋♂️ 1. High body heat 2. More complex, leaning towards oiliness 3. Facial seborrheic dermatitis (only severe in winter) 4. Not much acne, occasionally 1-2 folliculitis on the jawline 5. Acne or sebum extraction about once every 2 weeks I'm writing this because I received a product at work that broke my preconceptions!! 1. Effective without irritation: Of course, prolonged massage would be problematic, but 30 seconds is fine! I always prioritized skin barrier, so I never used scrubs or products with AHA, BHA, and PHA. 🚫 But when I applied a pea-sized amount on my nose after showering and massaged it, there was no irritation, and my previously bumpy nose became smooth! It didn't feel hot, and it was much better than diligently dissolving with cleansing oil. This is legit 👍 2. Gentle scrub beads: When squeezed, there are white beads that, with proper massage technique, effectively remove sebum without irritation! ☆Sebum can never be completely removed just with cosmetics☆ It's important not to be too aggressive and to avoid irritation. The formula and scrub beads helped manage the bumpy sebum well. 3. Opaque black formula: I liked being able to see the applied state better during the massage. I considered this a small advantage. 4. Scrub product with relatively gentle ingredients: Ingredients like myristic acid aren't a big concern in a rinse-off product. As for allergens, everyone is different, but I didn't have any issues. It's practically a gem of a product 😉 (By the way, cosmetic researchers do skin tests for allergens, so there's no need to worry too much. I don't prefer them, but they're fine in rinse-off products!) I've been removing sunscreen with cleansing oil, so my sebum has been managed naturally. But for areas that need focused care, like the nose, this product was extremely helpful 👍 The container is not one-touch: You have to twist the lid open and close it every time you use it during the shower. It's a bit annoying. It's not a major flaw, but if it's a skincare product you use often, I would deduct some points for it!! Since this is not a skincare product, I'll pass on the penalty. 1. Your nose gets flushed (it happens when you take a shower) 2. It's as salty as a pea (as small as a baby's fingernail) 3. You may massage to melt the sebum, but be sure not to overdo it on your skin! (for 30 seconds) 4. Wash and you're done Do this 1-2 times a week Clean and tidy 👍 - yu********Combination SkinAcne SkinNov 30, 2023
Well... It's not like blackheads completely disappear, but they do seem to fade a bit. The irritation is quite intense, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsAug 9, 2023
Honestly, I was amazed to see all the blackheads on my nose disappear So I tried applying it all over my face to dissolve small bumps and scattered blackheads. It stung and my face turned red, making my skin sensitive. It's been a month, and my skin is still red and sensitive, not returning to normal. Even with barrier care, my damaged skin barrier hasn't recovered. I wish I could give it zero stars, but one is the lowest rating available. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2023
It's gentle on the skin and despite my oily complexion with excessive sebum buildup, using it just three times a week cleared up my blackheads completely! It's a bit of a hassle. The amount is too small. Disappointing that it can only be used on the nose. - be*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresJan 4, 2023
The included brush creates a rich lather when you gently massage it on your skin. When applied to the skin, it may cause some irritation as it works to balance your complexion. Be sure to apply only a small amount, as using too much could potentially lead to skin irritation. - ba******Oily SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2022
If you use it consistently, blackheads really do disappear a lot! It feels like it thoroughly cleanses the pores. The granules feel a bit irritating at times. My skin isn't usually tight, but after using it, it feels a little tight. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2022
I've been wanting a cleanser that exfoliates, and this one is gentle and really great. The small size makes it convenient to carry around. I especially love that it has a loop to hang the brush. It definitely helps with sebum and pores. I recommend this for those who struggle with oily skin every summer! It contains some potential allergens and the small size means you'll use it up quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2022
I really like that I can cleanse my face without using my hands. I've only been using it for a week, so I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet.
