I've been using this for just under a month now. With panthenol, niacin, and ceramides, it's great for hydration and soothing! I wanted to reduce the number of products I use, but my skin was in total disarray. This is perfect as it's gentle yet packed with essential active ingredients. As someone with combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I'm really enjoying it. I use a separate exfoliant, and I layer this product as the first step for a bit of hydration. Depending on my skin's needs, I adjust how I use it. It's not super lightweight or watery - it's more about hydration than a completely fresh feel. You might find the finish slightly rich due to the ingredients, even though the texture is quite fluid. My first use was after trying a new exfoliant, and I felt a bit of irritation. I thought it would be gentle enough for sensitized skin post-exfoliation since it's focused on soothing and hydrating, but it wasn't quite as mild as I expected. Since then, I've been careful not to over-exfoliate, and I use it without any issues normally. So... while it calms other types of irritation, it might cause some discomfort if your skin barrier or outer layer is compromised from exfoliation. For my combination dehydrated skin, I layer it twice in summer, followed by a light serum and cream. Sometimes I use it as part of my face mask routine too! It's a cost-effective way to keep my skin from falling apart... (I'm trying to cut down on skincare expenses these days)
